Host canceled my stay 3 days before arrival. This was just before the Christmas holiday, so it was a real hassle securing last minute accommodations during a busy time of the year. VRBO said host was unresponsive and didn’t give reason for cancellation. Fingers crossed the host returns my money.

Wyndham is great; TimeshareRentalPros was not

We have stayed at the Wyndham in Steamboat many times through Diamond Resorts and are very familiar with the property; rooms are spacious and clean, with well-furnished kitchens and underground parking. The resort runs a shuttle to the slopes every 10-15 minutes, and the resort staff are responsive and helpful.The listing advertised 7 consecutive nights, which I booked 9 months out and paid in full. TimeshareRentalPros contacted me 3 days prior to my arrival date to tell me that they had been unable to confirm that they actually had all of the nights they had rented to me - they had the first three and the last three, but not the middle night (which happened to be New Year's Eve). They said they would keep trying to get the one night but sent me a confirmation for only the first three nights.I ended up booking a room in Bldg 1 separately, and TRP never did come up with the additional night. I spent hours during my vacation on their live chat and on the phone with their support, trying to get them to give me the confirmation for the final three days - the Wyndham could not see that I had a reservation until TPR confirmed it.We ended up having to pack up and move rooms TWICE during the week. After hours on the phone, I did get a refund for the night they never actually had but had rented to me 9 months prior. The Wyndham staff were lovely and helpful, transferring our luggage from room to room.I recommend the resort, but NOT renting from this owner.

Loved the apartment feel with all appliances available. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Near the slopes and only 2-3 miles from downtown restaurants.

Nice place, great location

Transportation to and from the slopes was ideal. The facilities were all well-kept and always available. The condo was in excellent shape, strongly recommended. While we were warned about the potential for a sales pitch on behalf of a time-share, the staff was very aggressive throughout the stay. But we were able to finally avoid the meeting.

The Property is close but not on the mountain. The shuttle is convenient getting to and from the base area, It can get a little crazy during the morning and afternoon rush but the multiple shuttles do run frequently.

Nice apartment. But heavy timeshare pitch

The 2 BR/ 2 bath unit had a great layout for the 3 of us. The kitchen was large, although lacking in many basic items. However, a call to housekeeping took care of most needs. The major negative was the heavy timeshare pitch and constant emails, calls and text I keep getting after leaving 2 weeks ago.

Great ski trip

The condo was very nice, clean and well equipped. There is a big hot tub that is well maintained and clean. It wasn’t busy in the late afternoon but can’t say about the evenings. The shuttle to the ski area came around every 15 minutes or so and was usually packed by the time we got picked up, standing room only. But hey, it was nice to not have to change boots etc in the parking lot. I only gave 4 stars for check in because of the time share pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location . Shuttle drivers are top notch and work hard to get you where you need to be. Checkin / out was easy. Small things around condo show cleaning crew doesn’t pay too much attention to detail . Moved a small armchair and found 4 different pieces of trash under it . No biggie but would definitely bother some . Not the owners fault

AMAZING STAY in the PERFECT PLACE

We love staying at this place. It's a short (less than 4 minute walk) to the Wildhorse Gondola that takes you to the base. The shuttles run all the time as well, and you never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for one! The rooms are spacious, clean, and we plan to keep coming back here year after year!

Comfortable and spacious- great location

In addition to the clean and spacious apartment, there is underground parking and a shuttle service to Steamboat ski about a 5 minute drive. With 3 bedrooms (2 queens and 2 twins) it also has a murphy bed.

Great location and spatious condo

We came to ski. My husband grew up in Steamboat. Great place to stay. The shuttle drivers are all great. Super kind and helpful. Guest services has extra items such as crock pot to use to cook during your time here. We have stayed here 3xs and would stay again as long it's affordable. Thank you!

Easy and clean!

This property was a perfect combination of simplicity and availability of resources. The apartment was well appointed and had adequate kitchen supplies. The only thing we noticed is that the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes very well. We let the front desk know. The kids loved the pool and we all spent time in the hot tub. Also, the wristband access keys were convenient. Thank you!

Rental pros are in a shady business and should not be on vrbo

This property is as listed, but there is a major problem with the people organizing this. They sent no information about check in and when I called the resort, they made clear that there was no reservation for me. the "rental pros" in charge of the reservation on vrbo assured me that I would have the reservation in my name only 10 minutes before check in. I also received a text the morning of check in from the "rental pros" telling me that I should "NOT MENTION" that I used VRBO or I could lose my reservation and receive no refund. They told me I should say that I reserved through the owners "directly" which was a lie. There is clearly something wrong here. I do not think this group should be operating on vrbo. I usually trust vrbo, but I was worried I was being scammed. The property was good when we go there, but this was stressful, and check in involved probing me about if I "knew the owners" etc. This is not ok for a vrbo listed property.
