Walk to gondola! Our condo (1bd/1ba + Loft bd (**steep, narrow stairs with handrail to loft**): 1 king & 1 queen bed) at The West is near the gondola with a fabulous view of Emerald Mountain and the Yampa Valley, plus a glimpse of Mt. Werner. This is a unique southwest facing one bedroom unit with a loft and windows on three sides welcoming sunlight throughout the day. Walk from your car or shuttle into our condo and access the main bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen without climbing a single stair. As for the loft, with the queen bed, there is a staircase (**narrow, steep loft stairs with handrail, pictured**) up to a semi-open loft bedroom. Countertop height table with 4 chairs, plus 2 stools at the bar. High vaulted ceiling boasts spectacular views.

Fresh remodel and new high-end furniture from Woodley’s and Arhaus. Beautiful Lethbridge pine tile in entry and kitchen, plush carpet and water chestnut paint. Handcrafted rustic cherry king size bedroom set and leather living room furniture. Plenty of space for you and your belongings in this roomy condo including three large closets, two large dressers, pantry and full kitchen.

On a cool day, you can snuggle into the couch or two recliners near the fireplace and enjoy the wonderful view or in the warmth, slip out to the patio and take in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the skyline and beautiful sunset. For outdoor lounging, two Adirondack chairs, two Adirondack rocking chairs and two side tables. As a bonus, the main bedroom has a fireplace this combined with the room darkening shade and curtains make this my all time favorite bedroom.

Both of the large outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor pool have magnificent views of Mt. Werner and the ski lifts. At the pool you will also find picnic tables and two gas grills with the same stellar view.

Four small buildings and a clubhouse/pool area on a private circle give a quaint feel to this condo complex compared to much larger buildings nearby. Unlike a few other condos in the complex with efficiency kitchens, as a bonus we have a full size kitchen, including a Bosch dishwasher.

Living nearby in Golden, Colorado we spend a lot of time at our condo and we're sure you'll feel right at home. Robes, fluffy towels, 18 pillows, lots of hangers, nice sheets and room darkening shades in the main bedroom. The condo is fully equipped for cooking with everything from a crock pot to a fondue pot, including Wusthof knives, All-Clad 13-Piece Cookware Set, Blendtech blender, and a Bosch dishwasher for cleaning up. As one of our guests said, a chef’s kitchen! We try to keep extra items stocked such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, laundry detergent, tea, olive oil, and spices just to name a few items. We like our toys, inside the condo you can hang 6 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards. River tubes and pumps may be available in entry closet, please inquire.

5 minute walk to the gondola. Free public buses located near the gondola can whisk you away to the small downtown streets of Steamboat. In addition to the gondola, a few bars, restaurants and live entertainment are a short five minute walk from the condo.

The balloon rodeo and 4th of July fireworks can be easily viewed from our deck (evening balloon glow steps away at the base of the resort). Winter, Friday night fireworks can be seen from our parking area and partial view from front window. Night skiing lights are fun to see out our front window too.

**Two annual concerts at the Knoll parking lot next door, which will be heard from our condo. 1) Texas Music Fest 6-days (typically starts the weekend after New Years). 2) WinterWonderGrass 3-day bluegrass festival (typically the last weekend in February). Inquire for exact dates to avoid or attend.**
