Welcome to Winterset 8, your pet friendly home away from home in the heart of mountain village! This large townhome has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and can sleep up to 10 guests. Upon entering, guests will be welcomed into the open-space living, dining and kitchen area. The newly updated kitchen has ample counter space, with room for 4 to sit at the countertop bar. The kitchen also offers all the pots, pans, and utensils you need to cook for the family. The kitchen is connected to the dining room that has seating for up to 6 at the large dining table. The open layout of the main level connects these areas to the living room. Cuddle up on the large wrap around couch for some quality time after a fun day in Steamboat. As you head upstairs you will find all 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. Down the hall, there is an additional 2 bedrooms. One room has a king bed, while the other has a queen. These bedrooms are connected by another ensuite bathroom. Both rooms have their own private vanity areas as well. Continuing up one more spiral staircase, you will find the loft. This room has a queen bed, a set of twin bunk beds, and an ensuite bathroom.

There are 3 separate decks throughout the property where guests may enjoy the fresh mountain air. One small balcony in the master bedroom, and two separate decks on the main level that have outdoor seating. This property also has a private hot tub on the large front deck, that guests are more than welcome to use after a day on the slopes or adventuring around town.

IMPORTANT **The driveway at this complex is very tricky to navigate. 4WD is required from Nov-Apr. More information on how to navigate this driveway will be sent upon booking.**

THE SKYRUN ADVANTAGE: All SkyRun Steamboat properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances.

-- Parking: 2 total parking spaces. 1 car in garage, mid-sized vehicles only. Parking for 1 other vehicle on Winterset property. 4WD is necessary in the winter months.

-- Must be 25 Years of Age
-- Air Conditioning: No. Due to the mild high alpine climate, most properties in Steamboat are not equipped with air conditioning.

IMPORTANT: There is a mandatory and non-refundable $250 fee for bringing along your pet(s). The number of pets may not exceed the maximum listed for this pet-friendly home. If you bring a pet, you WILL be charged for ALL extra damage and cleaning required. You must comply with any applicable local regulations. Pets must be leashed at all times when outside and must not disturb the peace. Animal cannot be aggressive to other people or animals (for example, it must not jump on or bite at neighbors). If there is a complaint of any type you will have to move your pet to a kennel at your expense immediately. You must pick up pet’s waste and remove it from the home and grounds before you depart (do not leave animal waste in trash containers). If you bring a pet to this property but have not indicated and paid for it on your reservation, you will be subject to immediate eviction of your party without refund,

GETTING AROUND:
Use the free city bus to get to and from the base area and to downtown Steamboat. There is a stop just steps away from this condo. A vehicle is not necessary, but it is highly recommended. Vehicles must have 4WD in the winter months.

This unit is a great option for those looking to stay close to the Steamboat Springs resort. We stayed at this unit for a summer wedding at the resort and this listing comfortably slept 4 couples along with 2 dogs. Pet friendly, unit shows some wear and tear from past pups (scratches on doors and furniture) but very clean. Parking was a big challenging to navigate, I imagine it could be difficult in the winter. Would certainly recommend or consider this unit again when visiting Steamboat. Thanks for offering such a pet friendly and comfortable option for our visit to Steamboat!!

We had an Amazon time staying at the property and enjoyed how close it was to the main gondolas in steamboat. The property manager was very helpful as well. We appreciate the opportunity for letting us use your beautiful home.

This unit was perfect for us! It was a large enough downstairs to host all of us. We really enjoyed the comfy couch on down days when weren’t skiing and the hot tub out front. It is a smaller hot tub, 4 max! There’s laundry downstairs with coin operated dryers. The staff was super responsive if we had any questions. The Jack & Jill bathroom is pretty tiny but both rooms have sinks to help alleviate that. The only downside is the parking lot- very tricky to navigate in the winter, definitely need good tires if wanting to park in the garage space down below & be ready for some 6 point turns to get out. We seriously loved this place though and would stay here again!

Stayed here with my family for a short fall weekend and we really enjoyed it. Nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, and great beds. The kids loved the spiral staircase up to the "crow's nest" bedroom at the top. Easy check-in and communication with the property manager. The only potential downside to the location is the very tight parking situation -- not very friendly to tall, full-size crew cab trucks, but it was quiet enough that we didn't have to compete for space and it wasn't an issue.

Getting into the garage for parking was a joke. Fan in loft had no electrical cord, so master bedroom fan went there so that it was sleepable. Toilet between Jack and Jill bedroom would either run or drain tank periodically in the night. There was an extension cord under the sink which is a hazard around water. Otherwise great location to go do stuff and close to bus stops.

I'll admit that we got this place because it was basically the only pet friendly place. That said, the space was very nice and clean, and we really enjoyed our stay there. I overlooked the part of the listing that said there was no air conditioning, and since we were staying over the summer, it was a tad rough during the day. They do provide fans, and it does cool down significantly at night. Parking is tight to navigate in a van, but very doable once you get used to it. My only complaint were the various fees...our actual cost per night nearly doubled when the fees and taxes were included. That's a bit much. Also, the listing indicates the pet fee is 25 per night but when we got our bill, they were charging us 35 per night.

This was a great property for our extended family, especially as we were able to have our pup. Plenty of room and every little thing you would need(thank you). The only difficult part was parking, which was expected, but had other guests park behind us at times and was concern for being able to leave when needed. We were never blocked in for too long, just more concerning than anything. Very much enjoyed our time!

This place was great for our large group of seven with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The private hot tub was a nice touch too!
