Ski Time Square 306 by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a nicely renovated and "Pet Free" condo in the heart of the Steamboat Ski Resort's base area. With an easy walk to the slopes, restaurants, shops, and local transportation, there is no need for a car - everything is right out your door! When you're home at the condo, enjoy designer style and upscale finishes. This 2-Bedroom has a great bedding situation that makes it suitable for 2 couples, a family, or a small group of adults. Please read on for more details.
The Property: As you step into this condo, you'll be greeted by tasteful modern decor and stylish design. The cozy barnwood fireplace and large HDTV invite you to unwind after a thrilling day on the slopes, while the chic hardwood flooring adds a touch of sophistication. The kitchen boasts brand new cabinets, state-of-the-art appliances, stunning white quartz counters, and a stylish tile backsplash. Down the hall you'll find the first bedroom, bathroom, and your own private laundry. The bedroom has a Queen bed and 2 Twin beds, making it suitable for one couple or up to 4 people. The full bathroom features slate tile and includes a bathtub shower combo. Downstairs, you'll find the second bedroom is a private sanctuary, with its own ensuite bathroom. This bedroom includes a Queen size bed plus an armchair, desk, and a bay window that doubles as a great place for your luggage. The ensuite bathroom includes a large shower with 2 shower heads and a bench. This condo has 2 Queen beds and 2 Twin beds, but it also has a Twin sleeper ottoman in the living room. This helps if you have 5 or more people and no couples, or someone who snores, or maybe just someone who wants to sleep in the living room near the fire. Just added! The owners have recently created an all new game room designed for hours of fun and friendly competition. Enjoy a Foosball table, arcade style video games, electronic dart board, and a giant wall mounted Connect Four, perfect for guests of all ages to enjoy!
Location: Ski Time Square is right at the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort base, and everything is walkable. The edge of the ski slopes is only about 150 meters from the building. With ski lockers at the entrance, heading out for a few runs or coming home for lunch is super easy. Want to head out for some Apres Ski drinks and food? You'll have lots of great restaurants to choose from. Enjoy all the activities, events, shops and dining options of the base area when you stay here. If you want to hit the supermarkets or check out downtown Steamboat, the free city bus picks up about 200 meters from the building, and can get you pretty much anywhere in town. If you are headed outside of town for a snowmobile tour, sleigh ride dinner, or a dip in the Strawberry Park Hot Springs? Those companies have shuttles that will pick you up and drop you back off. No need to worry about parking or driving in winter conditions. When you stay here, the location makes having a car unnecessary.
Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking: Once you book, we're here to support you. We will provide you with arrival instructions and answer any specific questions you might have. Accessing this property does require stairs. From the most convenient parking or drop off points, a half a flight of stairs up or down is required. There is also a half a flight of stairs between the entrance and the elevator. Once you are inside this condo, the main level includes the living room, dining room, kitchen, one of the two bathrooms, laundry, and the bedroom which includes a Queen and 2 Twins. The condo has a lower level which includes the Queen bedroom and it's ensuite bathroom. On site outdoor parking is available at this condo complex. The parking is a private gated outdoor lot for 1 vehicle per unit. We do recommend carpooling as much as possible in any season, and strongly recommend it in busier seasons. Please note, you may not want or may not need a car, particularly in ski season. You can easily walk throughout the base area, and there are free buses picking up and dropping off within a couple hundred meters of the building. These free buses can get you around town and are frequent. There are also private shuttles available, when you head out of town to the hot springs, to snowmobile tours, to guest ranches, etc. For guests visiting in the spring, summer, and fall, who might want to be able to drive to remote trailheads, state parks, national forest, or wilderness areas, or just want or need to have a car onsite, here is some additional information regarding your options. If you arrive and the parking lot is full, you can still pull up to the building, unload bags, groceries, etc, and then go park off-site. Street parking is allowed along Ski Time Square Drive. However, please note that Ski Time Square is a popular place to try to park, since it provides such easy access to the ski slopes as well as restaurants, activities, and other attractions. So, the city has limited street parking to 2 hours. There are also two paid parking structures within walking distance, at the intersection of Ski Time Square Drive and Mt. Werner Circle. The walk to those two lots is about 5 mintues, and the walk is virtually flat, so it's pretty easy. During ski season 2023/2024, The rate for parking at those lots was $50 per day, and we expect the rate for ski season 2024/2025 to be at or perhaps slightly above $50/day. Free parking may be available in other areas of town, free buses as well as taxis provide you with options to get to and from these alternative offsite parking options. Please contact us with any questions about off site parking options. All that said, during the busier parts of ski season, we recommend that guests of this development choose to carpool or don't rent a car at all.

Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. Great value in an exorbitantly priced area
Loved that there were tons of extra linens, towels and pillows. Nice remodel and loved the surprise game room. The only real drawback was a lack of a real coffee table in the living room and could use a full sized coffee maker and a blender. But overall a nice little place.

Great spot
Old school ski cabin with updated appliances. Don’t think there’s many better spots on the mountain, 3 minute walk down the sidewalk to get to a bunny hill that takes you to the gondola base. Not right on top of everything so you get some space but close enough that you can be there in minutes on a walk. Would love to stay here again

Really nice place, clean and spacious. The game room is in a strange spot - it was the closet for the master bedroom but they turned it into a game room - so while it's absolutely fine, just know that you have to walk through the master bed and bath to get to it. The elevator was in repair while we were there but it was actively being worked on, so I don't believe that will be an issue for long, and it was not so bad to walk to the third floor. The spa and workout room are one floor up and really nice. From the condo, we were able to walk right up to the Steamboat gondola and base. It was summer in our stay so we were able to hike up on the mountain.

Great location, access, & amenities
Loved staying so close to the mountain. We woke up and went for hikes without losing momentum (which is a problem with kids). They could also safely cross the street and get to the mountain to bike. The hot tubs were nice to relax in after an active day.
While the building is older, this condo has been redone and has a clean modern update. The kitchen was equipped and we ended up cooking most meals. The owners converted a closet into a play room with old school pacman and foosball that the kids ended up loving. The unit has a bunch of jigsaw puzzles and games that we enjoyed as a family. Internet access was good so we could work.
It was an unexpected bonus to have an EV charge station in front of the building.

Great place to stay at Steamboat
The properity Management company is wonderful. Timely communications on check-in/out process and quick response to questions and asks. Great example, the 1st night we were there, resort temperatire dropped to -26 and the heating elements were not able to keep up with that, and bedrooms were 59 degrees. Upon calling the management company, they had cleaning staff delivered space heater within hour.The location of this unit is great, walking to slope, shopping and restaunts. Inside the unit is fully remodeled and comfortable. One suggestion is to have pots and pans upgraded as we cook all of our meals while we were there.
