Beautiful condo/great location

We had a great stay! The unit was clean, cozy, and fully stocked with everything we needed. It’s just steps from the hot tub, and having the bus stop right at the condo made getting to the ski slopes super convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute, clean & everything you need for a great ski week!

This condo is clean, comfortable, well-appointed and very close to a bus stop that’s less than a 5-minute ride to the center village; it’s also it’s close enough to restaurants and to the slopes to walk. We stored our skis and rented a locker below The Range and then either grabbed the bus or walked to ski and to eat. We’d definitely stay here again, especially for the price compared to most of the lodging.

Perfect for a ski weekend

This property was exactly what we needed for a weekend in Steamboat. Great location, convenient shuttle option. We've stayed in this complex before and it's been great both times.

Good basic level accomodation

Basic level accomodations that was just fine for our five night stay. Must use city bus system if you don't have a car and that worked out ok

Family ski weekend

Enjoyed our stay. Love that condo is on the bus line. Community jacuzzi needed a cleaning. Kids bunk bed was in master bedroom but not a big deal for short stay. Bunk bed needs a mattress pad.

Good Location, but small

The place was well maintained and what you would expect for a condo built in the 80's. The bedrooms are really small but large enough. No dresser in one, and I found a couple hooks in the entire place. Ski condos rarely have hooks for all the jackets, hats, gloves, etc and this place was no different. I found 2 in the larger bedroom with the bunk beds. The kitchen was also smaller and we had to run the dishwasher twice a day since there were so few dishes and silverware. There were about 6 of everything so you have to wash after every meal. Pre-ground local coffee was provided but there was only a Kerug machine to use it? Not sure how that is supposed to work. Never figured out how to start the fireplace to take the edge off the drafty doorwall. The complex has a stop on the Winter Green and Orange bus routes (time to/from the Gondola Base is about the same) so that was great. There is a mix of full time, seasonal, and short term residents in the complex so we got to chat with a variety of people in the hot tub.

Small and just ok

This condo is very small and cramped. In my opinion it would not sleep 6. We were a family of 3 and found it uncomfortable. There is a bedroom with a queen size bed that barely fits in the room. Difficult to walk around it. The other bedroom has a bunk bed with a trundle. That's 2 in the queen bed and 3 in the other room. The sofa in the living room is supposed to be another sleeping space but would be terribly uncomfortable as there are spots that sink way down when sat upon. Even more important than how comfortable the beds are is that there is nowhere to put everyone's stuff. In each bedroom there is 1 small nightstand with 2 drawers. No other dresser or bureau drawers. The room with the queen bed has a few drawers in the closet, but they are difficult to access given the sliding panel doors. I used a luggage rack in the closet and a closet shelf. There is a foot or so between the edge of the bed and the closet doors on one side and wall on the other. My husband had a clothes explosion from the suitcase on a second luggage rack in the corner and he had to maneuver to get into the bed becasue the room is that small. Both bathrooms are tiny with no counter space to accommodate toiletries. A large guy would have trouble turning round in the shower stall in the 3/4 bath. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking but not much counter space to hold groceries. Either there is no ski storage in the building or it was not communicated to us so we put our skis in the tiny closet just inside the door. There were no hooks to hang jackets anywhere so they got slung over the chairs. Our ski boots filled the region between the front door and the dining area so that we had to kick boots out of the way to pull chairs out to sit at the table. There are only 5 chairs around the kitchen table. 3 people could sit smashed together on the sofa and there is one other chair in the living room. All the furniture was shabby. While packing up, I looked under the queen bed to make sure I didn't drop a sock and found a thick layer of nasty dust with q-tips and other detritus. Yuck. These were vinyl floors so no excuse not to sweep under that bed. Also, when we arrived the kitchen was not very clean with crumbs around and a pizza box left from the previous tenants. For transportation to the base, it is on the bus line but for be aware it is one of the last stops in the morning so buses fill up. If you have a ski lesson, leave early.

Fine property.

Great for a "budget" stay. Worked well for a friend group of skiers trying not to break the bank. Kitchen was small and short on utensils/pots/pans for adults trying to cook independent meals, but it worked. Trashcan is too small, and not stocked with extra trashbags. Dishwasher tablets included, hand soap, extra paper towels and tp. Unit located on 3rd floor in SW corner of condo complex. View of Hot tub from living room, but must walk long way around building to access. Bus stop located on North edge of complex.

Sub par

The place is sub par. For the price we expected so much more. From the microwave working only one day to only one light in one bedroom and even that had to be plugged into the wall to work because there was no switch to turn in on to the floor boards coming off and the fireplace emitting a high pitched noise for the amount of money we had to spend it was very dissapointing.

Great stay!

This condo was clean and in a great location in Steamboat. Only five minutes to the mountain or downtown. It was nice to have a separate bathroom for the adults and the kids. The only odd thing was that the bunk beds are in the master bedroom, so the adults had the smaller bedroom which is also detached from the bathroom.

Odd layout, but suited our needs

We came up to Steamboat for my sister’s wedding—she lives up the street so the location was our selling point here. Great area...even got to see a bear cub causing some ruckus in a dumpster! The layout of the bedrooms are very strange. The bunk beds are in what should technically be the “master” bedroom with the attached bath. The bathrooms are small and outdated, and the shower door in the bathroom of the “bunk-master” bedroom didn’t close fully and I’d have to wipe up excess water after each shower. The space that has the queen bed is rather tight and spares little room for suitcases and such. The two rooms seem like they should be swapped—bunks in the smaller, detached bathroom setup, and the queen in the master with attached bathroom setup. Just strange. Otherwise, it was a comfortable place to land at night. Don’t forget to bring coffee (coffee maker filters were provided), a water filtration pitcher, and ice! I did have a hard time getting a hold of anyone at property management, as I was hoping to cancel our last night and get some sort of credit for leaving a whole day and a half early. I got a response two weeks later that said it was too late to cancel and no refunds/credits would be applied. Disappointed in that we probably would have tried to fight through my moms altitude sickness and get our money’s worth had we known it would take so long to receive a response, and that their response would be along the lines of “We’ve been experiencing high call volumes but because you couldn’t reach us in time for the cancelation window, there’s nothing we can do.”
