"I thought that the property was very pretty, and the room we had was nice. I really wish there had been a pool or at least the hot tub being open past 7 PM. A pool would make a huge difference with me wanting to come back. I had a hard time reaching the property. I kept getting a fast busy signal and found out from one of the other travelers that the power had been out for a couple days. I’m assuming that’s why I could not get through. I tried to to let them know that I was gonna be arriving...

"Would have been a perfect location just across from the Stage Coach Lift, if there had been any snow at Heavenly. We wound up hiking and playing disc golf instead. We definitely needed our own rental car for that. The place was very quiet (not surprising since there wasn't snow). The hot tub was a nice feature but only 2 of the jets worked. Because there were only two of us, I would have preferred not to have a bed in the front room and would have used that as a sitting area instead. I can...

"Unit was somewhat spartan, but exactly as advertised. No real complaints. Love the jet tub in the bathroom. Lots of postit notes everywhere telling how to operate various things ... laugh-worthy, but useful. TV in 2nd bedroom didn't work so well ... but the TV in the master bedroom worked fine ... as long as you minded the the postit note to "press the buttons on the remote very hard." Wifi went out occassionally. Three flights of stairs were doable ... until I broke my leg (not a joke). ...

"Overall, I had a good stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff I interacted with throughout my stay were friendly, professional, and helpful. That said, the check-in experience was completely unacceptable. When I arrived, there were well over 50 people waiting in line, yet only two employees were working the front desk. The wait was far too long, and it’s hard to understand how a hotel could be so understaffed during what was clearly a busy check-in period. No matter how nice the property is, starting a stay by standing in a massive line because of inadequate staffing leaves a poor first impression. Once I finally got checked in, everything else went smoothly, which is why I’m still giving the hotel a good review overall. However, management needs to do a much better job staffing the front desk during peak arrival times. This is an issue that should be addressed."
