"Host responds quickly. Home was very beautiful. A lot of stairs but not too bad if you stay on one level. Trash was hard to find, but neighbor was nice to throw it out for us. Hot tub was amazing. Rooms were good and house was stocked up on both kitchen and bathroom. The view is absolutely stunning. Not too far from the tourist area. Very quiet. Perfect for big groups"

"The property is great. Cozy. Family friendly. Good location. A lot of stairs to the property so if you are not stair friendly, this is not a place for you. We were fine with it. Property management was very responsive when we had an issue with loud construction. We looked forward to QUIET time to rest out of the city and sadly the inconsiderate people upstairs thought it was appropriate to work until 11pm and start again at 5am on a weekend. Unbelievable. It's just minutes from Heavenly's Stagecoach area, and the Tahoe Rim Trail is within walking distance right from the front door. "Overall, I had a good stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff I interacted with throughout my stay were friendly, professional, and helpful. That said, the check-in experience was completely unacceptable. When I arrived, there were well over 50 people waiting in line, yet only two employees were working the front desk. The wait was far too long, and it’s hard to understand how a hotel could be so understaffed during what was clearly a busy check-in period. No matter how nice the property is, starting a stay by standing in a massive line because of inadequate staffing leaves a poor first impression. Once I finally got checked in, everything else went smoothly, which is why I’m still giving the hotel a good review overall. However, management needs to do a much better job staffing the front desk during peak arrival times. This is an issue that should be addressed."
