"I loved that we got to stay in a whole colonial, well-appointed, immaculate house by ourselves. I loved the staff, that went out of its way. The grounds are beautiful, as are the accommodations. I didn't like my breakfast, a "sandwich" made from a croissant, some flavorless cheese, a fried egg and overcooked, very salty bacon. No garnishes. Croissant was second-rate. Should have had tomato or greenery. Caused us to cancel our dinner reservation. Other than that, the staff was amazing,...

"Staff was great. Pet Friendly. Best breakfast buffet I've seen in a long time. Needs something non gluten for folks with food allergies. Simple Rice Krispies would do that."

"Peaceful, relaxing, and near to everything. Will definitely be back. We definitely have the privacy we need and still being near everywhere we need to be. The drive is 30 mins to Shenandoa, 1 hr to Luray Cavern and 30 mins to Monticello. We went to winery around as well. Resort is very responsive. Our car is awd and has its own navigation so it worked out fine for us. No cellular service but wifi is great. "

"My husband and I stayed here after hiking in Shenandoah for the day. Beautiful property back in the woods/country. Our room had a beautiful view especially in the morning with the sunrise. Loved sitting outside in the morning. Would definitely stay here again- maybe at one of the cabins with our kids. "

"When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted by the concierge whom escorted us to our room and made sure we could enter our room using our code. After we settled in we went downstairs to the restaurant and had an awesome meal with breathtaking views of the valley. I will definitely return as I have family and friends in the area and the location is perfect. "
