Magens Bay - dining - POOL - Incredible views

Inside the gated community of Peterborg is your next vacation home on St. Thomas. Three bedrooms sit on the main level, with a private apartment suite below for extra space or quiet. You are less than a 5 minute drive from the world famous Magens Bay, a 3/4 mile long, pristine beach that will be you favorite spot to soak in the sun. Hungry? There are several excellent restaurants within a 10 minutes drive. Pool, beach, dining...it’s all here. All that’s missing is you.

This villa was featured on HGTV Caribbean Life Season 19/Episode 12! The villa sits high on the peninsula and is less than 2 miles from famous Magens beach. You will find three bedrooms on the main floor along with two bathrooms, the kitchen, and living space. You can access the apartment below via a set of stairs off of the pool deck. In the apartment is the fourth bedroom, a private bathroom, and a second kitchen and living area. Head back up to the top deck in the evening to watch storybook sunsets and see the other side of the island light up against the night sky.

Please note: The driveway leading up to the property is quite steep so having an AWD vehicle will help you feel more comfortable.

Our stay at this property was amazing. Host was responsive, property was well stocked, location was great as it was right down the road from Magens Bay Beach and in a safe, gated area. I highly recommend booking a stay here if staying in St Thomas!

The house met every expectation. Meghan was terrific when we had a question. we all had a fabulous stay. I would really recommend this house for a holiday. However be aware there are a lot of stairs. Loved the luggage and grocery lift.

Off the beaten path

Chez moo was a beautiful and functional place for my family of 7 to stay for a week. Driveway was extremely steep so I would recommend a capable vehicle, not a minivan.

Perfect Stay in Paradise

We had a wonderful pre-Christmas stay. The villa is exactly as described. We stayed in this area three years ago and the sweeping views of Magen’s Bay and beyond never gets old. Savannah arrived just after we pulled in (Yes, take previous advice and rent a Jeep. You’ll not only appreciate it for driving up the steep driveway but for getting around St. Thomas.) to show us around. We were so focused on getting acquainted with the villa and amenities that we failed to make sure we could connect to the internet and TV’s working. Savannah and the owner, Keith, were very responsive and tried to fix the issues. We appreciated a small credit for the inconvenience. The location is prime, views breathtaking and villa well appointed with anything you could need. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Really nice spot

Our family stay was very nice, this is a luxurious spot, secluded and near the best beach on the island. Really nice rental for most people. Put all food and snacks in fridge to avoid ants and bugs. This place is a little dangerous for little kids but we survived. Likely better for older kids and adults.

Wedding trip for friends of 30 years!

Chez Moo is in an absolutely stunning location. You cannot beat the breathtaking view from the windows, the decks or the fabulous pool. We conquered the driveway and were grateful for the lift to take the luggage and groceries up to the main floor. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the property since we had lots of wedding activities to attend, but it was very comfortable when we were there. Everything in bathrooms and kitchens worked well, water pressure was lovely, living areas were clean and spacious. The property host, Savannah, was super helpful and responsive. I would absolutely stay again and recommend Chez Moo to anybody making a trip to St. Thomas. One very picky item would be to update the sheets and pillows. As a vacation home owner myself, I know this can get costly, but a crisp white sheet and a comfy pillow is always a cherry on top of a great place! Thank you!!

Beautiful Views

Staying at Chez Moo was just what the doctor ordered when it came to needing a holiday vacation. We woke up every morning to the beauty of Megan's Bay. This expansive view was a great way to supplement our morning coffee as we sat on the deck. The property is gracious and we easily fit (4 adults and 3 teenage kids). Enough space by far. The driveway is a bit steep, so rent a 4 x 4 for easier access if you get a car. Thanks to Keith and Meredith!

VIEWS!!!!!

Area and views are amazing…. I don’t know how you could get much better! Host and check in process spot on! Had everything you could possibly need with a family! Thank you for providing beach towels and chairs…. Huge bonus! We had a wonderful first stay at your beautiful property in St. Thomas. If I had a complaint it would be two small things, lighting outside could be a little better. The solar lights were perfect, but more than half were out, so it was a little difficult seeing walking around once it gets dark and half of the string lights were out at the pool. Also for what you pay for the cleaning fee I would get a new crew…. It was very neat and tidy, but clean not too much! Again overall, wonderful visit and beautiful place with outstanding views of the bay!

Megan’s Bay, Beautiful Views

This was our second sry in Peterborg. The views from the house overlooking Megan’s Bay are breathtaking. The proximity to the bay makes this a 5 star home. It was great to have the pool, grill and beach chairs available for use at local beaches. Savannah, our host, also was great for communicating and she also did a great job of provisioning our requests. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Views

Everything was great. The driveway is quite steep and a bit intimidating at first especially in a run down Avis rental van but we made up and down every time! We had plenty of space, completely enjoyed the views from the house and the pool. The location was nice and the host response / communication was quick and clear.

Fabulous 2 Weeks in St Thomas

We had fantastic stay at Chez Moo in St. Thomas. Gorgeous views with spectacular sunsets. Great access to Magen's Bay. We combined cooking in with also some great meals out. Was able to arrange for a private chef for a couple meals and also had Spa-to-Go come and provide massage and facial services at the house. Responsive hosts who were quick to respond any questions or concerns we raised.

Best bachelorette pad

The house was so clean and spacious. Great views. Very well stocked with towels and even had a blow dryer and straightener. Our island plans got changed because of a tropical storm but the house was a great place to ride out the storm. Loveddd the infinity pool!

Great family vacation

Beautiful views, location is fantastic, with Magens bay probably the nicest beach in St Thomas 5mins away. House is well equipped, probably would add a dishwasher is the only thing. Great spot for a family vacation.

Beautiful views

My family really enjoyed our time at Chez Moo! The views were amazing, and we enjoyed the pool. The manager Savannah was easy to communicate with. As previous reviewers have said, the hill to the house is very steep so it may not be suitable for everyone, but my family did not have any problems.

The house was properly depicted in the photos! It was stocked with all the supplies you would need down to the spices. Very clean, peaceful and scenic! Don't be afraid of the driveway (hilly) but easy!

Awesome house!

The house was amazing! Very clean and well stocked with basic items. The pool was beautiful with an amazing view. Lots of seating areas with a great view of Magens Bay. A short 5 minute drive to Magens Beach. There are beach chairs, a cooler and beach bag to use for trips to the beach. Some challenges included the driveway which was very steep but most houses are like that. There are quite a few stairs up to the main house, again not unusual, but there is a lift so you didn’t have to walk or carry your luggage up (we only used it for luggage.) There were also a lot of roosters crowing in the early morning hours as they are all over the island so turn the fans on and bring earplugs. Overall this house was amazing and perfect for our family. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great location and view. Very nice pool and deck. Lower apartment outside furniture very stained. Lower apartment does not have blinds on all sliding doors or windows - some privacy concerns. There is no lighting in main house over dining room table - very hard to play cards or a game in the evening. Anyone with knee issues will have trouble with all the steps. All in all, though, very nice house.

Excellent space

Great location in Peterborg gated community. Private and quiet. Excellent views of Megans Bay and beach. Be warned very steep driveway , took two tries to lauch our group of 6 in a mimivan up the ramp. However we did make it, actually treated it like a ride at an amusement park after the first trip up. The space has a great pool with high and wide views of the bay. Two gas grills to use for cooking. Basically 5 minutes to Megans beach every thing else is 20 minutes travel time with a car. This was our second group trip to the island.
