Welcome to beautiful St. Thomas. This vacation rental is a one bedroom, one bath condo at Villa Ithaca. Villa Ithaca is a privately owned, gated estate nestled into the mountainside overlooking the Charlotte Amalie Harbor. This property is comprised of the primary home, a two-condo unit complex and a loft condo. This vacation rental is for one of the condo units.
This fully air conditioned, smoke-free and pet-free condo includes:
- Living Room – Sectional sofa, cable TV, DVD and CD Player with beautiful views overlooking the harbor. WIFI is available.
- Kitchen – Fully equipped cherry cabinets, granite countertops, full size refrigerator/freezer, oven/cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker, cooking utensils and silverware.
- Bedroom – California king bed with views overlooking the harbor
- Bathroom – Glass enclosed shower, sink and toilet
- Laundry – Full-size washer/dryer on property, shared with the other condo unit
- Parking – Outside parking next to condo building
- Mobile Phone Coverage – Provider/plan dependent, no international plan required
- Total Condo Size – 535 square feet
- Not Handicap Accessible
Transportation to and from the airport is available to the property. The condo is 19 minutes (4.5 miles) from the Cyril E. King International Airport (STT).

My husband and I spent six amazing, memorable days at this beautiful villa. The constant communication with Melvin and Monique made our check-in process smooth and easy. Their hospitality was truly exceptional.The hosts provided great recommendations for beaches, grocery stores, and restaurants, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything we needed for fun days at the beach was thoughtfully provided—oversized beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and even ice.The TV had all the streaming apps for the days we wanted to stay in, relax, and watch a movie. One of our favorite moments was enjoying breakfast on the terrace overlooking Charlotte Amalie Harbor—it was absolutely amazing.We would definitely book this villa again. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful memories in St. Thomas!

The property was just what we needed for our needs! It was cozy, bed comfortable and air conditioning met our needs. Just down the road from Maegan’s beach. The view was absolutely unbelievable. Sit on the bench and watch the sunset or dine outside at the beautiful patio table. This place was exactly as described in listing. It was great for us! Great host also! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had an awesome time in St Thomas and a big contributor to that was Melvin property. Everything was above our expectations and as described in the VRBO posting. The rental is spacious, bedroom with a bath and a California king bed, the kitchen has all the needed equipment to cook your meal, we also had access to the owner bbq. We absolutely enjoyed the views from the terraces where we spent most of our mornings. It was our first trip to St Thomas but certainly not the last, the island is absolutely beautiful. The rental offers a private parking on a gated property. We were really impressed with Melvin and his beautiful family, high quality people with no doubt.

Melvin our host was super accommodating. We had a conflict with our flight and he graciously extended our check out date. The breathtaking view is to die for. I think we may have had the most beautiful view on the whole island.

We had a wonderful stay at Ithaca during Carnival time. It was close to the events and extremely comfortable. The host was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions. I will definitely be booking again!

This was an incredible property. The owners were amazing, the views were incredible. I cannot wait to come back. Keep in mind St. Thomas is very mountainous and you need to be a decent driver! The driveway is steep so make sure you are prepared for that.

Wonderful Stay at Villa Ithaca

Property and the condo are as shown in the pictures. Fantastic view of the harbor, surrounding islands from the veranda-Best on the island. The condo was exceptionally clean, bright, and fresh. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Windows open, beautiful mountain breezes. Easy access parking, outside condo door. Very relaxing. I would recommend to family and friends. Nice host. Must be a confident driver to drive on left side of road.

Wonderful view of Charlotte Amalie harbor

I would love to give a 5 star review and would have except that the air conditioner could not keep the condo cool enough for us, especially to comfortably sleep at night. Fortunately, the windows had screens so we were able to catch a bit of a breeze to help cool down. Melvin was wonderful to work with and the condo is very nice. Very comfortable bed and high end appliances in kitchen.

Great location and host

Fantastic stay in STT at this great centrally located unit. The views both from the unit and the driveway are some of the best you can get on the island. Melvin was a great host, easy to get a hold of and super helpful during our stay. Unfortunately we had some travel delays on our flights out to the island and missed our first day on the island. Melvin didn't charge us for the day we weren't there which is above and beyond what we expected because this was no fault to him or vrbo. Just weather back in the states causing flight issues. The unit was nice and big and a great location for traveling all over the island. We were pretty busy on our stay so it was nice to have a good central location and near the main island roads. It's also 5 minutes to magens bay which is our favorite beach so that's a big plus. We would definitely recommend staying here and even coming back for another visit!

Melvin & Monique were excellent hosts. They went above and beyond by showing us around the island, just an all around super nice couple. We have visited and stayed in many different places. This was unquestionably the best view we have ever stayed in. Sits high above Charlotte Amalie harbor where you can see all. Very clean and well kept. I would rate a 9. If they had a pool it would be a 10.5

You want to stay at Villa Ithaca

Villa Ithaca is convenient because it is centrally located on St.Thomas. It is halfway between the airport and the Red Hook, east end of the island. You will need a car or cab to get to the apartment as the driveway is probably too steep for a scooter and this would be the only "negative" I can think of for the property. The space is big, with very high ceilings and a spacious sleeping room with its own bathroom. The kitchen and living area share a space but are efficiently separated by the kitchen's extended counter space. The apartment has everything you need to feel comfortable and is exceedingly clean, neat and organized. The view is spectacular of the harbor. It will only take you about 10-15 minutes to get into town without traffic jams and about the same amount of time to get to Magen's Bay beach or to Mountain Top. The pictures are accurate so what you see will not disappoint you. Looking forward to renting the same space or the apartment below the one we stayed in. Melvin is also very easy to reach, is very friendly and informative, and very accommodating. Do not hesitate to rent this space!

PEACE in PARADISE

I had the most amazing experience at this residence. The property was absolutely gorgeous and the view was STUNNING. I was accommodated like royalty by my host. Serene tranquil paradise on the hill

Couldn’t ask for anything better. The location was easy access to east central and west parts of island. Close to major beaches. Was able to enjoy the view of the island and ships docking fir the day. Entire property and unit kept clean and well maintained.

Great location for a home base to explore from.

Centrally located, safe and secure. Place was clean and new. We had a minor issue with a ceiling fan and someone was out the next day to fix it. I would recommend.
