DUNEDIN - MINUTES FROM BEACH-HONEYMOON ISLAND- FAMILY

This is our vacation home in Dunedin Florida and we love it so much that we want to welcome guests who want to have a vacation by the Gulf of Mexico where the ocean is calmer and warm. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and the Florida room has a queen air mattress. There is one bathroom and the kitchen with a dining and living area. It is small, but it has everything you need for a great vacation!

The Resort provides all kinds of entertainment in the Club House. There is a salt water heated pool that is open all year around. You can also use the shuffle board courts, the gym and the laundry facilities.
The Pinellas Trail just outside the resort is 46 miles long and goes from Tarpon Springs to St Petersburg. You can walk or use your bike to visit Downtown Dunedin.

Location was excellent. Pool was wonderful. Enjoyed staying here - was able to do some cooking and even though there are neighbors all around I still felt like I had privacy. I also felt safe - important when traveling solo! Parking under a tree was nice too - my car stayed cool.

Great Area a little pricey
Place has had upgrades that we're not mentioned or pictured. Wish they still had sleep sofa in TV area. There were More beds. No more air mattress, now a trundle. There is an issue with water. I think it needs a filter. Used all bottled water except coffee and was ill for a few days because of that. Wonderful area, great people. Home was much, much quieter! Again, Great area.

Trailer is in the Dunedin rv resort. Great resort with lots of activities. Great pool friendly people Host - Theresa is a fabulous host. Any question I had were promptly responded to. She really is a premier host. Accommodation - Very clean and well equipped. Lot of plates, silverware. Everything you need for your stay. Side room has air conditioning now and has a trundle bed for extra sleeping space.

2 week stay
The trailer is very old but it was clean. The furniture was comfortable; we were thankful for the recliners. The bed was comfortable too. The fan in the bedroom was not used because when we turned it on, it wobbled so much we thought it would fall off the ceiling. The bedroom and bathroom are very small; the bathroom doorway was too narrow for my husband. The bedding was thin as were the towels. The kitchen was very disorganized in terms of items in the cupboards. The porch was not used as living space but has a small bed. We liked the close proximity to the Pinellas bike trail!!

Clean and cozy, but needs some help.
I stayed at an almost identical park model in the same park last year. The people at the park are very friendly and the pool is nice. The information was confusing. The check-in email said that there was a lock box with a key to enter the rental, elsewhere it said there would be a keypad and that the owner would send a code. I didn't get a code and I had trouble contacting the owner. Eventually, the owner messaged me with the code. I'm glad I was hanging out at a relative's and not on the doorstep. I had planned a bbq with family based on the information on the listing that indicated there was a grill, but I didn't find one when I got there. I don't know if they used to have one, but don't now? This trailer is older but clean and comfortable, for the most part. The bed was firm and comfortable and the furniture was newer. I was happy that so many items were furnished, like spices, coffee, tin foil, baggies, etc. Think of a shared ownership of a cabin, where others leave behind what may be of use to someone else. Now for the cons: The water heater is small, so showers were quick. If there were more than one person staying, you would have to stagger your showers. The windows are old. The tint is fogged on most of them and with there are awnings that shade most of the side windows, leaving it dark inside. Because the windows are old, you can clearly hear activity outside. The unit is on the corner of the main park road so you can hear the cars and conversations. But the biggest issue was that I couldn't get to sleep, because the louvered bedroom window was about 10 feet from the RV behind it, and you could hear normal conversation from them and on occasion, their music. It wasn't the neighbor's fault, they were just enjoying the evenings. It would be great if the owners would invest in some new windows, and tried to make it brighter in the main area. Maybe add a light above the dining table, too.

Was a nice little place.
The house was nice. It was in a great location and all the neighbors were very friendly. The only problems we had were that the water was not working when we arrived, a window was broken in the sun room, and the house was a 1 bedroom not a 2 bedroom as listed.

The property was as expected for the price. The mattresses however were awful. It also would have been nice if there was a couple beach chairs and maybe a cheap cooler to borrow since it is a beach destination and people can't carry them on a plain.

Just the right spot!
Cute and quaint property! All the amenities and activities were close by and easy to find! The community was warm and relaxing too. Honeymoon island was the perfect sunset and shell collecting spot, and the local restaurants provided great tastes of Dunedin! Highly recommend, and we hope to visit again!!

Felt like home on a small package
Worked very well for our needs. Equipped with everything we needed. The laundry facilities just across the intersection and very clean. Pool was wonderful and heated. Check in at the center was easy and staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to access the home. Was provided with coffee and filters which was great each morning. Plenty of wash cloths provided and towels. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was very responsive to questions and provided very specific details on everything so our stay went very smooth.
