Post Milton and Helene hurricane impact & updates
- Luckily, our unit did not sustain any damage since it's located on the second floor
- Unfortunately, all first floor units and building shared entrances have been damaged and are about to be done with their reconstruction. As a result, our entrances still don't look as pretty as they used to and floor is not finished. Reconstruction process is now in its final stages (as of December 2025).
- Some buildings in the area have not done their reconstruction and don't look as pretty as they were pre these two devastating hurricanes.
- Many restaurants, bars and shops have re-opened (including Toasted Monkey, 82 Degrees, The Buoy Bar & Grill) since hurricanes but some have decided to permanently close (Woody's), and some plan to re-open but have not reopened yet (Willy's Burger).
- Since the whole area has been damaged and continues to be re-constructed, there is a chance of the construction noise from any nearby locations.
- We will keep our guests posted on any updates related to the post-hurricane impact.
