Kelly’s review is a lost entirely untrue, assuming she was not feeling well and thought she could make false statements and get a refund. If what she says is true, VRBO would have given her all of her money back without needing my approval. She apparently showed up late at night to check in. Left a mess in the bathroom, made a pot of coffee and left before morning. Kelly may not know how to use the software as check in instructions are sent automatically on the day of check in. Several messages were sent to Kelly both inside the ap and through personal contact such as text messaging at phone number provided regarding check in. I never saw or heard from her until she had already left demanding a refund. There was a cleaning rag left between the cloth shower curtain and the vinyl liner-this should not have happened. She claims that she and VRBO called me upon her arrival, not only was I on property I had no missed or received calls. VRBO customer service shows up as Lodgify on my phone.

So sorry you were unhappy. I was unhappy that you left owing $104. You interacted with me often during your stay and never once indicated your dissatisfaction. Why wouldn't you tell me you weren't happy? That's the only way something could have been done to resolve your concern during your stay. Re: Furniture There was a new couch, it had been in the unit for less than a month. We added a new cover to the love seat so they would match. Possibly you did not like the kitchen table and chairs that is an antique? Although the wrought iron headboard was not new, the bed frame itself, mattress and box springs were new in the spring of 2022. RE: Grass not mowed? My yard maintenance contractor mowed weekly on Fridays during August. The only reason it would not have been mowed would have been due to rain, then the yard would have been mowed on Monday.

Thank you for your stay at Alice's Beach Bungalows and taking the time to write a review. The agreement you consented to states that if there is a problem, you must try to resolve it with the owner or manager. Without this, you are not eligible for a refund. All contact details were provided to you upon booking the property including photos, address and my cell phone number. Walking around a property trying any door you could find to gain access is unacceptable behavior at any rental property or public place. During your extended weekend stay, we were experiencing the aftermath of the hurricanes that in and around the Gulf of Mexico and the entire Southeast region. Not a lot of time to spend on the beach. Because you stayed 2 days, saw me often, your stay consisted of three rainy days, and you never mentioned a problem; I have to wonder if you were just unhappy with your rained out beach vacation & wanted to go home one day early with a full refund.

Thank you for choosing Alice's. If you had a problem with the price you should not have booked. The rates and your costs are plainly stated during the booking process. There were no surprises. If you had a problem with the cleanliness of your rental, we would have been happy to address any issues if you had indicated that you were unhappy. I am disappointed that I was not given the opportunity to address your concerns.

Alyssa, thank you for staying at Alice's Beach Bungalows and leaving such a thoughtful review. Sounds like you enjoyed your stay! I'd like to provide more details about the two to three minute five-hundred foot walk to the beach. The crosswalk is like most along Gulf Blvd. designed to keep pedestrians safe. Push the button to activate the flashing lights that tell the drivers to stop, wait for the oncoming cars to stop and then safely cross the beach road.

There was an issue with the new mini split air conditioner/heat pump, a small adjustment in the position of the unit resolved the problem permanently. The yard is shared with one other rental, the property sits on a double sized lot. Each rental has their own private outdoor seating area and/or dining area. We hope to see you again soon!
