The kitchen pairs walnut-toned cabinetry with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine, and with a Spar supermarket under five minutes away and a good spread of grills, bars and restaurants filling the surrounding streets, self-catering and eating out are equally easy to fall into. A lift runs to the fifth floor, so getting everyone and the beach bags up and down is never a chore, and a private washing machine, iron and clothes horse mean swimsuits and towels are sorted without a trip to a laundrette.

For a different stretch of sand, Golden Bay is around a 10 to 15-minute drive, while Valletta, Mdina and St Julian\'s are each roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car.
