"The Relais Cooden Beach hotel was excellent in all respects, the staff were all superb and gave over and above what one would normally expect. One small problem was with the walk in shower - although it had full grab rails around the shower valve there were no support rails between the door and the valve position, probably 2.5 m distance and my disabled husband did not feel it was safe to traverse this distance with no support as he walks with 2 sticks, no problem if in a wheel chair but to walk...

"A lovely hotel with all the facilities except a car park. But there's plenty off parking nearby, so not a problem. Our room was clean, bright and had a wonderful outlook. Definitely worthwhile having a sea view room. The bar was well stocked and the restaurant served top quality food which was cooked to perfection. But a special thanks must go to all the hard working staff that made our short stay most enjoyable. "

"We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome"
