"The man at the desk was exceptionally nice, offered us an upgrade to our room and gave my son a toy. The room was clean, the bedding, comfortable, and there was some great options for breakfast. I would definitely go back!"

"Wylder is a pet-friendly hotel with a beautiful location on the Chesapeake Bay. The sauna and cold plunge are wonderful, so relaxing. We managed to get a day and a half in lounging on the expansive green lawn, relaxing by the fire pit before the weather changed. The salt water pool is also a gem. "Beautiful experience. The property was right on the bay with spectacular views and sunsets. The house itself was wonderful. It was comfortable and beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and antiques.The kitchen had everything needed. AC and overhead fans provided excellent comfort. Kayaks and a canoe were great for cruising on the bay. They also had bikes available (we brought our own). Biking is a pleasure on the rural and flat terrain of the Eastern shore.
