  • Charming one bedroom cottage situated on the beautiful south coast of the island. This self-contained cottage offers a spacious living area with living/dining and fully equipped kitchenette. washer, television and parking. The open patio looks out onto the lawn and is wonderful for relaxing and enjoying a refreshing drink. Within walking distance of the beautiful, white sand beaches, water sports, shopping, restaurants and night life. Ten minutes away from the town of Oistins and the very popular Friday night fish fry. This cool, breezy cottage is perfect for an enjoyable, relaxing island holiday.

Wonderful new year

The property was more spacious than the pictures suggest, super peaceful with a lovely veranda. A very easy walk to the beach (Deia beach club is amazing) and an even easier walk to rhe main road to pick up a ZR to btown or oistins or the bus up the west coast. Incredible value to money and some lovely added touches with snacks, drinks, condiments, cool box and an abundance of towells provided. Would hugely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the island.

Fantastic stay!

Such a well equipped, beautifully decorated and clearly loved property! Lin is an amazing host and went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. She even transported us to and from the supermarket on our first day. The property is within walking distance of lovely beaches and Oistins and St Lawrence Gap. A bus stop is a short walk too so car hire is not essential for a stay here. We had a fabulous time in Barbados and our accommodation contributed to our experience greatly.

Perfect property

A wonderful find. The property is stand alone with excellent facilities. Exceptionally clean. Everything you need is here. Access to washing machine if needed. Approximately 5 minutes walk to the main road, so everwhere is easily accessible. Jeff was very attentive making sure I had everything I needed, without being intrusive. Very kind and helpful. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Christmas vacay

I found palm cottage on Vrbo after arriving in Barbados and being informed my initial accommodation had been compromised. I consider myself extremely lucky for finding such a perfect place so last minute. Travelling alone I needed somewhere that could provide home away from home comfort and this place did just that. I stayed for 2 weeks in mid December and found the location to be great, easily accessible for travel links around the island as well as beaches food and shops. The neighbourhood is lovely with many friendly faces and the cottage itself had everything I needed to relax and be self sufficient. Thank you to Jeff and Vicky for accommodating me so last minute.

Well equipped comfortable cottage

We spent 10 weeks at Jeff and Vicki's cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our "winter in Barbados". Communication with Jeff and/or Vicki was excellent. The few times we contacted them, they responded in minutes but were at the same time very respectful of our privacy. An issue with the washing machine and later with the bedroom air conditioner were dealt with promptly the same day. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need for an extended stay and everything worked extremely well. It is in a nice neighborhood surrounded with some very nice homes, but far enough from the main road to be quite quiet. About a 15 minute walk to a couple of large grocery stores, only a couple of minutes to the main road where buses, taxi's and route taxi's (ZR's)run constantly. The one thing we could advise someone renting this cottage, (and it has nothing to do with Jeff and Vicki) is to remember a good pair of earplugs for sleeping. Several of the neighbors have dogs and of course when they are out to take care of business they have a tendency to "converse" with each other or warn their owners about anyone passing by including a few of the monkeys who live in the area. We befriended a couple off them and looked forward to a daily head scratch or belly rub with them. We would definitely rent here again if it was available. Thanks Jeff and Vicki.

All the charm of a traditional Bajan cottage with all the comfort of a new building.

My husband and I enjoyed three terrific weeks as guests at Little Palm Cottage in February. It was a great choice. The cottage is very comfortable and roomier than I expected. Owner Linda is next door and is a wonderful asset. In designing and decorating this cottage she has thought of everything. I loved its newness; I felt like we were staying in a show house. In terms of cleanliness it is immaculate. The bed is comfortable with good quality sheets. The bathroom shower is very good. We enjoyed drinks and meals on the front porch. Linda created designer-style drop down fabric blinds on the porch to ensure privacy and provide shade. The cottage is in a quiet residential neighbourhood within easy walking distance to buses, beaches and some restaurants. The washing machine was very handy. Everything outlined on this listing was delivered to a very high standard. We are very happy to recommend Little Palm Cottage to fellow travellers. Thank you Linda for everything.

Lovely Apartment , fantastic location

Lovey clean apartment in a really good location and easy access to the nearby beaches and Oistins . Linda was very helpfull and was on hand to greet us and advise on places and trips which she kindly discounted for us.

Neat and cozy cottage

Two weeks ago Linda’s welcomed us at her very neat and cozy cottage. When we arrived, there was some water, soda, beer, milk, bread and butter in a fridge, so we didn't have to rush out to the store to get the basic supplies, we headed to the beach instead. The location of the cottage is a 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach, 5 min drive to supermarket and Oistins Fish market where we used to stock up with flying fish and delicious local mangos. Linda always helped us with recommendations on different beaches, restaurants and main island attractions. It was nice to explore the island and at the end of the busy day come back to our vacation home. The cottage decorated and taken care of with love of its owner. Linda, I love the simplicity, tasteful décor and freshness of the place, you checked all of my “nice to have” boxes. The pictures of the cottage does not show beautiful greenery and flowers in front of it, it's lovely. We brought home very warm memories from the Little Palm Cottage. If any of our friends will visit Barbados, we will definitely recommend Linda’s place.

Awesome place

This was the first time we rented a property in Barbados and we found it exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful cottage, more than adequate for two people and had every amenity you could wish for and more. It’s in a perfect location close to shops, transport and beaches. Loved how friendly all the neighbors were. Linda the owner couldn’t do enough for us and had lots of advice about places we didn’t previously know about so we made lots of new discoveries. We were also delighted to spend time socially with Linda and her friends which made us feel part of the community. If we should return again we would have no hesitation in staying at Little Palm Cottage. We would highly recommend it to anyone else.

Excellent place to stay

Linda, the owner, was absolutely delightful and so helpful. The property was spotless and there was attention to detail in every area. We wanted for nothing. The interior was tastefully decorated and she was really concerned to keep the place well maintained. There were lovely little touches, such as food in the fridge upon arrival and the loan of sunbeds. She recommended various places for us to visit and places to eat and drink etc.

fantastic host couldn't do enough for us,it is bigger than it looks,clean and tidy.near to shops,hotels,bus route,night life if you want it,the washing machine was a godsend.and we had some good days and nights with linda the owner.

Amazing Holiday Let

We stayed here for 4weeks in March 2017 and couldn't of picked a better property and location, The Cottage itself is located a short 5 minute walk from the nearest beach and local amenities 10 minute drive, the cottage itself was well stocked with dishes etc. Linda was very helpful. She Gave us lots of useful information . She was there on hand if we wanted to ask for help, but also gave us our privacy. We would and will recommend this Cottage . We will defiantly be back again next year Thank you Linda

Absolutely FABULOUS!

Let me just say, we don't know Lin and have no connection to her whatsoever. I found this house online (in a rush), it looked cute, so I booked it. This is the only place I've ever stayed where the actual venue is nicer than the pictures! Everything was PERFECTION! Perfect for a couple but still can have a bunch of friends over for cocktails. Lin didn't over look any detail - down to making the curtains and upholstery herself! There's a full kitchen, which we took advantage of and saved some money on eating out. Lin takes pride in the cottage and is just a lovely, non intrusive person (though we'd love to have drinks with her), but she's there when you need her or for a friendly send off. We will most definitely be back next year. Thanks, Lin for being the BEST!!! Xo, Chris & Andy Ps super close to the beach, an open resort, bars, and restaurants!

Very Enjoyable Stay

We returned earlier this week from a 10 night stay at this little cottage and had a lovely holiday. The cottage is newly built and although not far at all from the main road which runs from Oistins to St Lawrence Gap, is remarkably quiet and in a pleasant residential area. Local people who walked past would wave or speak to us if we were sitting on the veranda and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage was comfortable and roomier than we had imagined from the pictures. Everything was clean and modern. The kitchen was very well supplied with pots, pans and utensils and we enjoyed having the opportunity to cook in a few times Although airconditioning was available in the bedroom we didn't use it as the ceiling fan cooled us down enough. We were fortunate to have hired a car for a week which gave us the flexibility to explore the island at our leisure (can definitely recommend a vist to Hunte's Gardens and the Foursquare distillery was also interesting) but using the buses for the first couple of days was also fun and it would be perfectly possible to have an enjoyable stay without the use of a car. Lin, the owner of the property, could not have been more accommodating. This is a fairly new venture for her and she is constantly thinking about how she can make improvements. Currently, a little building is being built to the rear of the property (any work was done when we were out so as not to disturb us) which will house a washing machine for sole use of guests. Lin is also going to have a fence erected between her house and the cottage to give even more privacy. She has planted some beautiful bushes around the property too which will also enhance the surroundings. For any independent traveller for whom a sea view is not a 'must', this cottage is a comfortable and affordable option. Thank you Lin!

Great Quaint little Cottage

We recently rented this cottage in Moravian gardens, we were unsure how it may be due to there not being any reviews. After we booked it, We knew based on the great timely communication right out of the gate that the Owner Linda was the right person to rent from. She told us how to get from the airport to the cottage with very specific directions so the taxi person would know how to get there, she told us what to expect with the location and proximity to activities, and local hot spots. Upon Arrival Linda greeted us and showed us into the great little cottage, to our suprise the beautiful pictures were spot on, this cute little bungalow had a great room with kitchen upon entry, all knew appliances, furniture and fixtures, the beds were two newer twins pressed together and to our suprise we had no issues of them moving apart and it did a great job acting a sole queen or king size. The bathroom was all modern and up to date, We did notice that the "flush" power was not significant upon arrival but Lin had a plumber address the issue ASAP, any subtle issue, Lin was fast to address it. There was one incident where I plugged a fan into a European outlet and zapped the fan (my own silly mistake). Lin lives right next door on the same lot, at first we thought this may be too close but again to our surprise, Lin was very good about allowing us privacy and if we saw her we would strike a pleasant conversation about all things bajon, and other life stuff. Lin gave us great information on all the local beautiful beaches there and all the pros and cons, there were 4-5 all within 1 to 1.5 miles of a walk. We chose to get groceries at the Massey Grocery .8 miles away and Popular discount that was 1 mile away, we found produce and quality were better at popular discount. Additionally with this rental you are .8 miles easy walk to Oistins Fish friday night which is a must see and .6 walk to St. lawerence gap with little shops and restaurants. The Cottage is a great place to stay, we felt as if the cottage helped us feel as part of the neighborhood as did Lin. The cottage is great and cozy, Linda is a very sweet, kind, honest person who we hope to keep in contact with. Overall a great place! We got engaged on a beach in barbados, We loved the cottage, We loved beautiful barbados, and we hope you do as well.
