"The property was not a 'cottage' as advertised but a top floor apartment. The property is a detached building split into 2 apartments. Tanglewood is the top apartment and Treetops is the bottom apartment. Tanglewood was a lovely, spacious and clean apartment with everything provided. I had trouble with the key box on arrival but the owner came out immediately to help me and then showed me around the apartment. Plenty of parking on the road outside."

"Rooms are nice and big. The carpets are heavily stained and dirty. Staff were okay, nothing bad but nothing wow. Bar staff was nice. Restaurant looked lush. Location is perfect. Breakfast was very expensive so went out for it."

"Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room a bit small for a kingsize deluxe - a tiny gap between the bed and the wall on one side to get into it which was a bit ridiculous and the shower trap was not clean. Location is great, and nice stroll into the centre. Lovely sitting out the front for a drink in the evening and dinner was great in the restaurant."

"The hotel appears lovely and has clearly been invested in. The room was as pictured, clean on arrival and spacious. The receptionist was very welcoming on arrival and explained everything really well and the availability of EV charging was impressive. However, the pictures are misleading - the hotel does NOT have a pool. They have a “spa” with hydrapool at a cost of £25 for 2 hours and only by appointment. We were also disappointed at the priority the locals seem to get over paying guests. A...

"We had a lovely stay, breakfast was amazing!! The only thing we can fault is the bed, it was so hard and uncomfortable that we felt bruised and battered the next morning! Would of definitely stayed another night if it hadn’t of been so uncomfortable as the weather picked up on the day we were leaving "
