"Very helpful, pleasant staff, very good lighting in parking area, liked the security of requiring a cardkey for entry, excellent water pressure, nice breakfast.
Suggest more consistent or double security for the property to better deter the non-guests frequenting the property, or maybe a high electric-gate and surrounding fence. The security responded quickly to the persons looking inside cars but maybe double security or a gate will help.

"The Viking is one of the 1950s-era motels that are common on Interstate Avenue, from the days when it was one of the main arterials for visitors to Portland from the north. It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. It is very close to a light rail stop, and also to bike lanes and bicycle-friendly streets."

"ótima experiencia. A localização do hotel é rodeada por moradores de rua e sem muitas opcoes de aliementacao próximas, é necessário ter carro para locomoção. "
"My husband, daughter and I were traveling back home and stayed one night because we know courtyard by Marriott from past trips. We are so happy we stayed at this hotel. My husband is disabled and they allowed us to check in early, we got a room on the top floor with a balcony and a beautiful view. We will be staying here again for sure. We loved the gated garage as well. Parking $15 but worth it."
"I made a mistake in the date when I booked the hotel in a hurry, on our way driving to California. The front desk was kind enough to accommodate, free of charge. It turned out that the hotel was an excellent choice in every aspect, in addition to the staff at the front desk. This led to our decision to stay there again on our return trip from California. "
"I had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is nice and modern and the room was great. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I liked that there was a mini fridge. The bed was comfy and I liked the couch in the room too. The indoor pool was a nice amenity. My husband tried the breakfast and he thought it was just ok. Also, there’s free parking, which is great."
