Ultimate Tropical Paradise-Minutes From The Beach-Coral Bay, St. John, VI

Sunset Paradise is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath home (with full solar installed Feb. 2025) privately nestled in the Concordia area of Coral Bay. It is situated above Salt Pond and Ram Head. Sunset Paradise is only minutes from Salt Pond and Lameshur beaches. Enjoy the gentle trade winds, gorgeous sunsets and beautiful views from every room. The spacious kitchen, cocktail pool and large outdoor space make this home extra special. If you are looking for privacy and tranquility, Sunset Paradise is your St. John vacation destination!

**We have recently completed some updates on our property. We added a raised deck/yoga platform and improved the front entrance. We have also made improvements to the inside of the house as well.

We do have a security camera at the front entrance to the house.

What a beautiful setting! We had such a relaxing time. The house has a gorgeous view. Everything worked beautiful, and our hosts were so welcoming, clear, and responsive. For those coming to the island for the first time, be prepared to be in a remote setting. If you love to hike, snorkel, and be in a quiet place, Sunset Paradise is your paradise.

We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon. The villa was perfect. The views are spectacular and on the quieter side of the island. We really appreciate all the communication from the host. Directions and recommendations on grocery stores. Pool was great as well. Thanks so much for sharing your island home. We loved our stay.

The house is on the quiet side of the island which is exactly why we booked it. Incredible views of the ocean and mountains. Beds were very comfortable. Coffee at sunrise and breakfast on the deck was perfect! The stars at night from the pool were incredible! This house is on my “short list” of perfect getaway vacations destinations

Lovely, large two bedroom home in a very quiet, remote corner of the island overlooking Salt Pond and small islands. Nice small pool and expansive deck. Everything you need is there and works.

A relaxing oasis on the quiet side of St John

This is a great home with a beautiful view of Salt Pond Bay. Perfect for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The home was well appointed with amenities and a nice dipping pool to relax in after hiking and snorkeling. The frequent visits from hummingbirds, banana quits and pearly-eyed ??? Was a pleasure to watch. Thank you for sharing your home.

Fabulous place

Very well-maintained house, great location in Coral Bay, amazing views, quiet, well-stocked kitchen, large rooms, comfortable bed, and responsive owner. We had a wonderful 2-week stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

St John 2024

We enjoyed the property very much. This is our fourth time being to St. John’s. The first two were at the concordia and the last two were rented houses and this was by far and away our favorite location and set up. We enjoyed the pool. We hiked in snorkeled everywhere.

Amazing getaway

This property is a GEM! It’s absolutely breathtaking and we had an amazing experience. The house was clean, close to some local restaurants, and overlooked Salt Pond Bay which happened to one of our favorite snorkeling places! This is the first time my husband and I visited the island with our friends and truly we cannot wait to come back, Vicki is amazing and super easy to get in contact with. This place will not disappoint! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience and an unforgettable trip!

Great stay at Sunset Paradise

Can’t say enough great things. Everything from the showers, to the bedrooms, to the kitchen were amazing. The outdoor areas and views were incredible and the highlight. You are definitely on the quiet side of the island, which we truly appreciated. If you need to reach the owners at any point, they are quick to respond to texts, and are eager to ensure your stay goes smoothly. We can only hope we’ll be back!

Loved this House and the Beautiful View!

We had a great stay at Sunset Paradise! It was our first visit to St. John, and it couldn’t have been better! The home was stocked with all the necessities and even some extras! The provided laundry detergent was a serious plus, as we washed suits and towels every evening. Could have spent every moment on the deck looking out over the bays! Highly recommended!

Perfect slice of paradise

Sunset Paradise was the perfect home away from home on the beautiful island of St John. My husband and I stayed with our two children (11 and 9). We didn't feel comfortable having the kids stay in the downstairs bedroom since it wasn't attached to the interior of the house so we used the pull out couch which worked wonderfully! We spent our early mornings soaking in the beautiful views surrounding the house, our late mornings/early afternoons exploring and snorkeling at various beaches and our evenings enjoying many of the local restaurants and star gazing in the pool. There is construction right beside the house but it didn't bother us at all - it was quiet and we were away from the house during the day anyways. Although it was about a 30-40 minute drive to Cruz Bay, we didn't mind as we preferred the more remote/quiet area in which Sunset Paradise is located. It was only about a 10-15 minute drive to Coral Bay where there are many great restaurants. Overall, we couldn't have been more happy with our choice to stay at Sunset Paradise! You won't regret it!

Sunset Paradise for a relaxed experience

Host was great, house is very nice and has everything you need. View outstanding. FYI - Road to home is very rough and rocky and driveway requires backing in on a very steep downhill paved driveway.

Stunningly beautiful views in all directions -- perfect in every way

My husband, adult son and I spent a week at Sunset Paradise and found the home's moniker to be absolutely accurate. What a perfect location as our home base for daily snorkeling excursions. We could see the Salt Pond Bay parking lot to gauge when beach lots might start filling. The view of the bay and Ram's Head in the distance were beautiful at all times of day. Wildlife abounds in the yard and around the neighborhood...the soothing sound of cooing doves, deer, donkeys, frogs, little lizards, and a variety of birds, including little bananaquits we could feed sugar from a provided feeder. When we returned from snorkeling, each day, we enjoyed watching boats come and go in the bay from the shade of the deck. In the evenings we watched the sunset from the pool, followed by an entertaining parade of little frogs making their way along the side edge of the pool to leap into an adjacent flowering tree. Our adult son loved having the private downstairs bedroom and ensuite bath to himself. Upstairs we had our own private room and bath with a huge shower and convenient laundry facility right in room. We can't wait to return in 2024 and are already considering possible dates to reserve our next week in absolute Paradise.

Beautiful, quiet retreat

This house is PERFECT for 2 adult couples! We loved watching the bananaquits each day as well as drinking coffee on the porch overlooking the stunning view. The owners always answered us promptly. I would def recommend having a rental jeep to explore the island from this house! St John proved to be the only island our group said we would love to return to for a second visit!! Book it!
