"Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had."

"Riverbend was the perfect place to host a women’s retreat! The property is gorgeous, spacious and private. It was the perfect place for our guests to pause and disconnect. "We had a very relaxing stay. The wifi was not working but that just allowed us to immerse ourselves in our surroundings. Being in the woods and so close to the water was very serene and our dog loved exploring. There were a few ants in the kitchen and spider webs around the house and on the deck, but that is to be expected when you are surrounded by woods. It didn't bother us. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. "My husband is a huge antique fan and this house has a lot. The location was nice and close to bigger cities but yet still far enough away. There was a lot of traffic noise but this could be due to the highway road construction. The owner was very tentative when we talked with her. It was also nice that it is pet friendly. If you are looking for an old farmhouse get away yet still close to modern amenities this is a perfect place to stay."

"We had a very nice stay. There were a lot of bugs on the floors. Could have used some baking dishes. We left flour in fridge. There needed to have sugar, flour and things that people would need. When we have gone to other B&Bs places they would have things like that for people.Tried to log in on tv to use our account to you tube tv but didn’t have a code for Roku. Better access to the river from the house. People have a hard time going up and down."
