Daisy Cottage is a stunning and exceptionally well presented 3 bedroom granite holiday cottage, situated in a prime location of the award winning Saltings Reach development just on the outskirts of St Ives.

Tucked away in a peaceful cul de sac within easy walking distance of the cottage is the scenic coastal railway which in just two stops takes you to St Ives. Peruse the many galleries, bijou shops or artists at work, choose from a wide variety of restaurants, coffee shops and bars to eat then pass the time of day watching the world go by.

Only a few minutes drive to the white sands and turquoise waters of Carbis Bay Beach so great for lazy days on the beach.

Daisy Cottage is simply superb and provides a wonderful escape, perfect for couples and families. Whether you are looking to relax on the beach or an energetic mix adventure there is something here for you!

Internally this delightful holiday cottage has 3 excellent bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen & dining area, hallway, living room and sun room.

On the ground floor there is a super contemporary open plan kitchen which is fully equipped with integrated appliances and dining area with seating for six. A large wonderfully comfortable and welcoming living room with French doors leading into a delightful sun room and then out in to the garden.

Upstairs the master bedroom has a relaxing feel with a king size bed and it's own en-suite which has a large shower, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has a double bed and third bedroom has twin beds. All beds are made up with fresh, crisp white bed linen and towels.
The main family bathroom consists of a bath with overhead power shower, heated towel rail, wash hand basin, toilet.

Externally there is a pretty, sunny enclosed garden with patio area great for alfresco dining, garage and car parking space. The close proximity to the quaint branch line train stations gives guests the option of leaving the car at home and popping on the train in and out of town.

Daisy Cottage is beautifully staged to Cornish Tourist Board Standards and will sleep 6 guests in total comfort.

Great place for accessing West Cornwall

The house was immaculate with two showers 3 toilets and three bedrooms and an enclosed private garden which is useful if you’re a dog owner it also has a useful parking space at backThere are two eateries within easy walking distanceboth dog friendly one is a Bistro style and the other a pub style place with a big gardenIf you wish to catch a train for an easy trip into St Ives it’s best to drive to nearby St Erth Station Everything you require at house and easy access by road to all parts of West CornwallLucy was a brilliant host and quickly answered any queries

A great little house!

Really enjoyed our stay in Lelant - the house had all the facilities we could have needed. It was a nice (but not especially short) walk to the beach - which was fine by us! In terms of location it was a short drive to so many places down in the SW of Cornwall. In all a great place in a great location!

Great location and house

Awesome location, with great eateries less than 5 minute walk away. Easy train links to Carbis Bay and St Ives make this house a no brainer if you are looking to stay in the area. Parking space for 2 hours an added bonus.

Lovely cottage close to St Ives

We loved this lovely cottage. It was clean, cosy, had everything we needed, including big TV. It was enough space for our family of four. The communication with the host was nice and easy, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco and Victoria sponge cake in the kitchen upon arrival. There was also a lot of tourist information/leaflets available there about places to visit and restaurants to go to. The cottage is only 10 minutes drive from St Ives. It is also a short drive away from lovely beaches (including the ones where you can surf/learn to surf) and cliff walks, as well as other amazing places to visit around Penzance and Marazion, etc. We would be happy to stay in this cottage again.

A very comfortable and well appointed family home in a quiet area within walking distance of the coast....though a car is necessary if,like us ,you have lots of paraphernalia to transport to the beach.

Amazing Staycation

I booked this very last minute and was very lucky we managed to secure the only days the cottage was vacant. The cottage is in a fantastic location, close to everything you need. The locals in the other properties were very friendly, giving us good tips for a pleasant stay. Lucy has been fantastic from end-to-end. She kindly accommodated our request for amending check in and check out times. After a long journey, we were left a wonderful 'welcome' treat to enjoy upon arrival. Couldn't rate Lucy, the cottage, or location any higher - most definitely recommend! Huge thank you Lucy!

Perfect holiday house

We loved staying here. The house was perfect for our family of 5, 2 x adults and 3 x kids aged 10-12yrs. The location was excellent with easy access to nearby shops and cafe as well as St. Ives. We stayed for 10 days and explored the local area, the furthest we went was the Eden Project which was about an hour from here. Hopefully we'll be back in Cornwall sometime and we'd love to stay here again if we can.

Fantastic property

We booked this property at short notice, Lucy was very accommodating and went the extra mile to meet our needs. Although we didn’t get to meet Lucy communication with her was fantastic, she always replied to messages and emails almost immediate. The location of this property is superb, close enough to beautiful beaches and restaurants but also in a peaceful position. The property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped . There is plenty of space for a family and a lovely enclosed garden. The lounge is very cosy and the sun room a delight. In the property we found lots of information about the area and train times. We really hope to return here in the future.

Great stay

Great house in great location! 4 min walk to train station so no need for a car to get into St Ives! The house has everything you would need three TVs, washine, coffee maker, washing line etc! Stayed with partner, newborn and three grand parents lots of space and areas to enjoy! Great little garden!

Lovely house in a great location

Every body in our party had a great time the property is truly a home from home . The location couldn't be better gentle stroll to station quick train journey and you are in the heart of St Ives with its glorious beaches or a walk along the coastal path into Carbis Bay excellent water sports facilities . Great local restaurant and Deli Scarlet Wines just around the corner . Very efficient service from owner Lucy could not fault any of it . Thank you once again for great holiday we will certainly be back

Perfect accommodation in a perfect location

Gorgeous accommodation, well presented, very clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely sun room and small garden at the back complete with furniture, along with private parking. Only 2 minutes walk to the coastal railway line and trains run approx every 30 mins into St.Ives so no need to take the car. We can also highly recommend the five minute walk to The Watermill pub which has a good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices. All in all perfect accommodation in a lovely quiet location with everything you need on the doorstep. Communication with Lucy was very prompt and a welcome bottle of wine and cakes on our arrival. We would have no hesitation of recommending and booking Daisy cottage again.

Daisy Cottage Saltings Reach

Lovely cottage, very clean and well looked after. In a nice area, station 5 minutes walk away which takes you to Carbis Bay and St Ives in 10 minutes no need to get the car out. Beautiful beaches ideal for families. We walked to St Ives one day coastal route its quite challenging but we enjoyed it. Lovely wine bar at the end of the road. We ate in Gannet Inn and Quay House and found both nice, although we preferred the Gannet Inn. Tesco and Asda only a few minutes away. There is a lot to see in the area and plenty of places to visit within an hour drive. St Ives is lovely although my 80 year old parents found it quite hilly. All in all had a lovely week and would definitely return, Lucy was very helpful, before our visit with everything we needed to know. We were very sad to leave.

Excellent holiday home would highly recommend.

Lovely property, well equipped with everything required for an excellent self catering holiday. Great location with easy access to Lelant station (2 min walk)and a 10 min car journey outside St Ives. The property is well maintained, equipped and homely with a lovely sunny garden. Lucy the owner is so helpful and made the booking process easy and provided plenty of information re the cottage and surrounding area. Plenty of good local pubs and restaurants if you dont want ro cook at home. We would have no hesitation of booking again, we had a wonderful.week and highly recommend Daisy Cottage to anyone looking for a lovely home from home.

Home from home in a great location!

Daisy cottage is a lovely property, very clean with all you need for a family holiday. The location is excellent, being so close to the train station and within a short walk to a couple of good places to eat. No need to take the car into St Ives! The train runs every half hour and is cheap. The service and communication from Lucy the owner was excellent from start to finish. We had a great holiday!

Clean, spacy, beautifully furnished and very convenient location.

When we booked Daisy Cottage in January of this year, we took a look at the photos of the cottage and thought that even if it is half as nice as it appeared on the photos, we had probably made a good choice. However, to find that the reality excelled the photos by far was an even nicer surprise. The cottage is lovely and although we were only four persons, six persons would easily have enough space. The rooms are light and beautifully furnished and this made our week in Cornwall so much more comfortable. It was very much home from home, but with a very Cornish flavour. And then the location! We had oriented ourselves beforehand with maps of the area, but coming from the continent (without a car!), we were really not sure, whether we would be able to get around and see things as we would like to. Luckily, our fears were unfounded, because not only was the local train service from St. Ives to Penzance excellent and the Lelant Saltings station only two minutes away, but the bus service was absolutely reliable and very entertaining, especially when driving down the very narrow Cornish roads in an open-top double-decker! This meant that, even though we did not have a car, we could get around and see as much as possible of this beautiful part of the country. Also, thanks to Lucy for welcoming us so warmly to the cottage and for giving us some great tips (especially the pubs!). It was lovely meeting her personally and to be sure, we would recommend Daisy Cottage to anyone. All in all, it was a fantastic week in Cornwall and it certainly won’t be for the last time.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel mit hübschen 2-geschossigen Häusern im cornischen Stil. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und vorbildlich eingerichtet für 6 Personen. 3 Schlafräume und 2 Bäder geben reichlich Platz. Die Einrichtung ist vorbildlich und neuzeitlich, es fehlte an nichts. In der Küche sind alle technischen Einrichtungen, die man sich wünscht: incl. Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine, einzig die Mikrowelle ist an der Grenze ihrer Nutzbarkeit. Die Betten und Bäder sind perfekt, Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind von bester Qualität. Schön ist der kleine eigene Garten mit Sitzplätzen, welche wir an 8 von 10 Tagen gerne genutzt haben. Die Größe des Fernsehers im Wohnzimmer ist überwältigend, 3 insgesamt sind fast zu viel. Für das Auto gibt es sogar eine eigene Garage. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und waren vom Ferienhaus begeistert. Unsere Erwartungen waren durch die Informationen aus dem Internet sehr hoch, jedoch war die Realität eher noch schöner. Wir möchten der Eigentümerin unser Kompliment machen für diese geschmackvolle und äußerst gepflegte Ferienwohnung sowie ihre Freundlichkeit bei der Lösung aller organisatorischer Fragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
