"This was our second year here, due to the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the location. You can do as much or as little as you like using this as a base. We just love the ambience of the whole area. We did trips by car, train, boat, bus as well as feet. Would visit again. "Loved this venue. People were lovely and food delicious. But we stayed in the smallest room which was a twin. I have never stayed in such a small room! No drawers or hanging space, was en suite but very claustrophobic. Will definitely go back but get a bigger room. ♥️ this is a proper pub, like they should be, beams on the ceilings and stone steps.
