    Localizado em um ponto estreito em St. George Island, hóspedes de Cruz Del Sur - que significa "Cruz do Sul" em espanhol - terá uma vista incrível do Golfo do México e da Baía de Apalachicola.

    O primeiro andar desta casa lindamente decorado oferece uma espaçosa suíte master frente do Golfo com cama king size, grande TV de tela plana e cozinha de manhã equipada com microondas, cafeteira e mesa de café da manhã, e uma varanda privada e mobilada traz mais perto do espumante Águas do Golfo. A casa de banho privativa possui uma cabina de duche ao nível do chão e lavatórios duplos com muito espaço. Com um layout exclusivo e um espaço perfeito para uma família pequena, o quarto com beliche junto à baia fica ao lado da suíte master e tem acesso a um deck mobiliado à beira da baía com vista para a água.

    Do outro lado do corredor é outro quarto rei w / acesso ao convés da baía, TV e banheiro privativo com chuveiro. A lavanderia w / tamanho lavadora e secadora e lavanderia afundar separar as duas suítes King.

    A sala de estar confortavelmente mobilada tem uma grande TV de tela plana, lareira a gás e vista para a praia. Entre no deck coberto para desfrutar de uma refeição ao ar livre ou relaxar sob o sol no terraço mobiliado. A área de refeições também desfruta de vistas para a água e para a praia e oferece capacidade para 6 pessoas. Lugares adicionais para 4 pessoas podem ser encontrados no café bar. A cozinha está bem equipada com muito espaço no balcão, uma ilha central com fogão a gás e despensa dedicada. Apenas após a cozinha é uma área de estar relaxante com vista para as águas da baía com uma retirada de dorminhoco duplo e acesso a um convés bayside.

    Um quarto de hóspedes bayside com cama queen-size também está localizado no piso superior. Este quarto tem uma TV, acesso ao deck da baía com vistas deslumbrantes da água e banheiro privativo com chuveiro. Um banho ½ está localizado no topo das escadas que separam o quarto de hóspedes do espaço de vida.

Spectacular House with a vie!

Loved the decks facing the gulf beach. The elevator was wonderful. The walk-in shower was great, the location of the house across from the beach was perfect! The pool was wonderful too! We will definitely be back again.

Family Vacation

We had plenty of sunshine and wonderful family time together. The house was great for my 82 year old mother who used the elevator for staying clear of stairs. We could see the ocean from the front of house and from the back. The bedrooms were large. Kitchen was well equipped with anything we needed. We all really enjoyed our stay. The property Management team was very quick in responding to any need we had.

Good bones. Needs updating. The best part was the professional help Jamie and John gave us when the elevator quit and listened to the things that needed help. They also came and carried our luggage etc down 4 flights of stairs because the elevator quit working! We love being at Sunset Beach at SGI!

Family Retreat

Reviewer Comments: Our party of 8 included my wife and me, two daughters, and 3 grandkids.We highly recommend Forgotton Shores Property Management as they have been our go to for St George Island rentals many times. Cruz del Sur has a wonderful location with great views even though it is not ocean front. We found it very clean and spacious and the elevator was great for dealing with the multiple levels. BJ’s Pizza is a great option for arrival day and we always enjoy patio lunches at the Blue Parrot.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was clean but needs updating. Kitchen pots and pans are worn and need to be replaced. I found it odd that the departure instructions included stripping sheets off all beds as well as hand washing and drying all dishes. I’ve never had either of those requests in all our years renting vacation homes. Also, the TV service was not extensive which meant we were unable to watch March Madness basketball games directly on the TV. It was nice to be so close to the beach which was not crowded. We enjoyed biking around the island.

The layout for Cruz is a bit unusual, but worked well. Being across from the boardwalk and near the community pool was very convenient. Forgotten Shores is absolutely the best agency to work with on the island! Highly recommend.

The kids were safe and could ride their bikes in Sunset or down to Grandparents’ house without a was so nice to see the ocean from our living room and bedroom and be able to walk the boardwalk all the way to the beach sand. It’s pet free so we didn’t have to worry about our daughter have an allergic reaction to pet dander. Forgotten Shores VP was so easy to work with. Their friendliness and support throughout our stay made our stay even more delightful. They truly value each customer.

Family beach trip

We loved this house! It was clean and very easy to get into! There were several small issues with the house. Doors not locking properly, shutters buzzing, chairs broken, etc. but overall we enjoyed our time. I think it’s just an older home and needs some light attention. No big issues that kept us from enjoying our trip! We will be back! :)

Review

Overall it was great! The AC was out when we got there but they were able to fix it within a few hours. I was upset that they didn't give us a heads up and it did make our first night pretty hot but they did what they could to fix it quickly and brought us fans. It was clean but they didnt do a good job stocking the home with soap, trash bags, detergent, etc. The proximity to the beach and pool were awesome! Its about a 10 min drive to the restaurants.

Picture Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We shared this beach house with another family of 5. The house was clean, updated, and had plenty of space for us to all spread out and have some privacy when we needed it. This home is in a great location on the island- literally next door to the state park. We rented a kayak and took it out for some exploring. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from your balcony, and the boardwalk across the road is fantastic beach access. It was great to have a full size washer and dryer, and the garage space under the home is so spacious. We were able to keep all our beach gear in there and eliminate a lot of sand from coming into the home. The hose and sprayer were an added bonus so we could spray ourselves and everything off. The house looked exactly like pictured on the website, and was even a little bigger than we expected. Pros: Management company is great, location was fantastic, house was well stocked, great amenities, nice updates to home. Cons: Only one bath towel provided per person, so we did lots of laundry. Pantry is very small, so we stored most food in a corner of the kitchen. There were two family reunions happening in two houses across from us that were beachfront. We are talking 7-8 cars parked at the homes and 30+ people at the beach. This made it very difficult to find beach space. We actually were not able to use the boardwalk across from the house since there was no room to set up at the beach. We ended up walking down to the access point across from the pool. The beachfront homes had renters who were very rude and would ask that you not set up canopies or umbrellas in front of their rental home. So, being a “back row” home renter made it difficult to find beach space to set up and play for the day. This is in NO way a problem with the beach company we rented from, but rather an issue with whoever is managing the beachfront homes in that neighborhood. They are not monitoring occupancy levels nor informing their renters that the bea

Therefore, closet space was very limited. The other bedroom on the second floor had no drawer space. The drawer that was there during our last visit was not there. Bench removed from the end of the bed in the master bedroom.

Great change of scenery for two weeks!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first visit to SGI and really pleased with Cruz Del Sur. Right by the bike path, state park, and a really short walk right to the beach. Had views of both the gulf and bay. Weather didn't allow us to use the community pool but it looked quite nice and just a few doors down from the house. Jamie was great to work with and provided clear instructions for arrival and departure. Only feedback that we provided her already was related to cleanliness of the kitchen items, but want to note that rest of house was very clean and nicely appointed.
