By far the worst lodging I’ve ever experienced! At check-in, the mgr said she had me down for the next day, which she blamed on Expedia, though my app showed the correct dates were booked. She told me not to use 3rd party apps but to book directly, which was unprofessional, but she did accommodate me with a room.
The room was old, outdated, and gross! I found black mold along the caulking next to the tub. The smell of old cigarette smoke gave me terrible headaches. I have dietary restrictions which is why I booked a room with a kitchen. This one had no dishes, pots, pans, etc. The bed looked questionable, so I purchased my own pillow, blanket, and cookware to get through the stay. The WiFi went down on night one, so while I had the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign up, the manager pounded on my door, then left without saying anything. A work colleague was staying there as well, which is how I learned this was about the WiFi. Very alarming.
The hot water took a long time to kick on, which is not very environmentally conscious, particularly when we’re in a drought.
The bed was very uncomfortable, and because I felt unsafe, I was unable to sleep.
I did not contact mgmt about these concerns because the all caps messages they sent before my stay were off-putting. They’re not approachable people. I was charged an additional $18, for what I do not know.
The pics you see online look nothing like the property. Read the negative reviews - the mgr gaslights the customers. I’ve contacted Expedia.
