The cottage is located a few steps from Bôme Beach. It is situated on Lac St-Jean at the mouth of the Mistassini River, offering a prime access point for water activities. Swimming, fishing, and water sports are permitted. An observation tower is also located a short walk away for admiring the scenery. A boat launch is available. Parking, access to the boat launch, and the small beach are Free.
