The lodge wasn't the cleanest.

The upstairs was cleaner than down stairs. Not sure if the owner is aware of the damage and wear and tear of the outside area. The hottub wasn't very clean and the jet buttons are missing making it hard to turn them on and off. I can imagine this lodge has seen a lot of families staying as the location is fantastic for a family holiday. Just the attention to detail was missing. Having said that we all said we would book again but not in this lodge.

25th Anniversary

The booking and checking in process was so easy with constant communication at the correct times. We were welcomed with tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of Local Gin. The lodge had a few lights on the outside and inside that didn’t work. The lodge could have been a bit cleaner but overall was ok. We had plenty of room for the whole family and we definitely stay here again. Thank you so much xx

Nice area and facilities of resort helped to please all ages.

Easy to rent but was a tired property and the cleanliness was very disappointing. We spent half a day cleaning the patio doors which was caked in bird poo and hoovering etc.

Our stay - one week staycation

The lodge and it’s surroundings were lovely, however it was let down by not being clean (Sand in drawers and around kitchen corners), no power or WiFi on arrival and no contact by the property manager. The lodges are a lovely size but unfortunately feel like they need a little TLC with a few creaking doors and floorboards. I believe when WiFi is advertised it should be standard like water but we only had it for 3 days out of 7 and when we did have it it was very slow. Luckily my partner did not have to work or we would’ve been in trouble.

Family stay

Great property, excellent space for the 2 families. Hot tub was amazing. Great location. Lodge had everything we could ask for.
