Welcome to our Quaint Apartment, located in the desirable Port Dalhousie neighborhood! It is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience during your stay. We are ideally situated in the heart of the "Island" and a short walk where you'll find a wonderful strip with cafes, restaurants, and shops to explore. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a place to relax and a cup of coffee.

Welcome to this charming 1 bedroom apartment located in the historic building that dates back to 1872. As you step inside, you'll notice the character hardwood floors that exude warmth and give this flat a cozy feel. The apartment has been updated with modern amenities to give it a European style living vibe.

The bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed, making it perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small families. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for whipping up your favorite meals or trying out some new recipes. You'll have access to a full apartment size kitchen and utensils needed to make cooking a breeze.

One of the perks of this apartment is the in-house laundry facility, making it convenient for you to keep your clothes clean and fresh during your stay. Please note that there is one flight of stairs that you'll need to climb to access the apartment, as the building is a multi-family dwelling.

For those who love the outdoors, the beach and the marina are just a short walk away. Take in the scenic views of Lake Ontario and soak up the sun while you relax on the sandy beach. You can also rent a boat or take a fishing trip from the marina.

If you're up for a short trip, Niagara on the Lake and Vineland vineyards are nearby and offer some of VQA's finest wines. Take a tour and sample the delicious wines while enjoying the stunning scenery.

After a day of exploring, come back to our cozy apartment and enjoy a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Relax in the comfortable living room and watch your favorite shows or movies on the TV. You'll feel right at home in this quaint and charming apartment.

We offer 24-hour check-in with self-entry for your convenience. When you arrive, you'll notice that the exterior door has the address "10 Christie" on it. Please note that our property has two addresses as it's situated on a corner lot.

Parking is available directly out front of the exterior door, and these spaces are 24-hour free city parking. You won't have to worry about finding a parking spot, and you can rest easy knowing that your car is safe and secure.

To access the apartment, Follow the instructions provided to you before check in! We hope you enjoy your stay at our short-term rental apartment, and we're always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Port Dalhousie is a charming neighbourhood located in the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is situated at the north end of the city, along the shores of Lake Ontario. The neighbourhood is known for its historic charm, beautiful scenery, and vibrant community.

One of the main attractions in Port Dalhousie is the Port Dalhousie Pier Marina, which is home to a variety of boats and yachts. The marina is surrounded by a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. Nearby, you will also find Lakeside Park, a beautiful park with a beach, playground, and picnic area.

Another notable feature of the Port Dalhousie neighbourhood is the Port Dalhousie Carousel, a historic carousel that dates back to 1905. The carousel is located in Lakeside Park and is a popular attraction for children and adults alike.

Martindale Pond is a beautiful body of water located just south of lake Ontario. It is a popular spot for fishing and bird watching, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including ducks, geese, and swans. There is a walking trail that runs around the perimeter of the pond, offering visitors a scenic and peaceful place to enjoy nature. The pond hosts many rowing events through out the spring, summer and fall.

Overall, Port Dalhousie and Martindale Pond are both beautiful destinations that offer a unique blend of history, natural beauty, and community.

House Rules:
1. "There is no place like home." That's my rule, treat my house like your home and take care of the place. Suck the life out of every day. Enjoy yourself, you are on vacation!
2. NO SMOKING inside the house.
3. PETS are welcome. I do have a Pet fee. Please inquire.
4. Street parking is available for free all over Christie St. Three parking spaces are available directly outside 10 Christie entry door.
5. Beware: no loud noise after 11 p.m. The city of St. Catharines enforces this by-law strictly. A complaint may result in arrival of police and fines. We are aware we are a multi unit building and sounds, noises and disturbances can happen during your stay.
6. Garbage: Please pick up after yourself! Extra garbage bags are underneath the sink. Recycling is mandatory use the bins beside the garage to put all papers (GREYBIN) and plastics (BLUEBIN). MONDAY is garbage day At Christie Corner II and if you are staying with us on Sunday night, please bring garbage out to back of the property. (Please review the recycling guide in Ontario)
7. Everyone likes a clean space. Please take your shoes off at the door.

As others have mentioned, it's a small, but cute, one bedroom apartment. Compared with a hotel room, it's nice having a dedicated living room and mostly full-on kitchen (only lacking a microwave which wasn't a big deal). It was easy to make our own breakfasts and lunches and a decent sized fridge to hold perishables. Parking is more straightforward than I expected as there are 3 spots immediately in front of the main entryway, plus one can park elsewhere in the street if needed. As hinted in the description, sound does travel easily, so I just used a rain noise generator on my phone so I didn't have to hear anyone on the stairs outside the apartment. The automated locks are very convenient for getting in and out.
