Outstanding Hospitality!
Our first visit to St. Barths was met with some delays, which left us on the island at night with no car and no ability to call anyone as we had no cell service. We ended up taking a taxi to the Villa, $50US to travel 15 minutes. Patrick met us with his welcoming smile and spirit, it was such a nice feeling! Because we arrived late, we were without a car rental as they were already closed. Patrick was so considerate, he brought us a bottle of wine so we could enjoy what was left of the evening at the villa. The next morning, he drove us personally to the airport where we were able to get our car. I’ll add that from the time of our arrival until the next morning Patrick kept calling the car rental agency to make sure they knew we arrived late and would need the car then next morning. Patrick went above and beyond to help us. The villa was comfortable, clean, and well appointed with what we needed. The only incident I would have preferred not to have experienced is a small mouse that ran out of the outdoor cupboard while we were enjoying our wine on the deck. I suppose in Paradise there’s always a chance of this. But, we were so happy to just be there, that was not enough to mar my opinion. As a thank you, we left Patrick a nice bottle of red wine. Even that was met with a friendly “thank you” text message. When we return to St. Barths we will definitely stay here!
