Charlestown Cottage with Hot tub, Harbour & Beach

Cottage located in heart of Charlestown, with Historic harbour, restaurants and beach, all within a short stroll!!

The Harbour has a unique history remains a vibrant working port, sometimes with classic tall ships, there are 2 beautiful beaches as well as a handful of great places to eat and drink, whilst enjoying the breath-taking views.

Charlestown has been a popular film set, the most famous being the Poldark series, and the Pirates of the Carribean.
The space
A lovely modern two bedroom cottage set in a quiet courtyard, enabling you to enjoy peaceful garden. A short stroll down to the unspoilt, original Grade II Listed Harbour.

A lovely calm space with neutral fabrics, and leafy greens! The space is a home from home, and has an enclosed garden.

Within the space there is a Living room, Kitchen with Dining space, a WC, and 2 Bedrooms and main bathroom has a walk in shower.

The main bedroom with kingsize bed, and a twin bedroom.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with patio table and chairs, and a summer house a lovely space to chill and relax.

**From April onwards - with a Helsinki Lazy Spa HOT TUB!

A Highchair and Travel cot are available - must be pre-arranged as not always stored at the cottage, linen not provided for travel cot.

One of few places in Charlestown with private parking space, must use permit provided. Further parking outside of courtyard on main road.


The famous and picturesque Cornish town of Charlestown is situated on the outskirts of St Austell on the South Coast of Cornwall.

At the Harbour there are a couple of public houses, and lovely restaurants to be enjoyed whilst taking in the breathtaking views out over St Austell Bay. In the summer there are usually additional pop up restaurants around the Harbour walls.

Newquay Airport 30 minutes, St Austell train station 5 minute drive.
Guest access
Access will be with a key code, keys in a key save details will be shared ahead of your arrival.
Other things to note
The cottage has been popular with guests for several years, and I am pleased to be its new host.

The cottage is not situated on the harbour, but very very nice and short walk approximately 3 - 5 minutes!

***The hot tub provided is type shown in photo, and is available for use only from April 2024!

The tub may not be available for upto 24 hours after arrival due to water change between guests, as takes time to warm up.

No extra charge for the hot tub as this is provided, at no extra charge for guests to enjoy if they wish, therefore no discount if not used or required.

Bath towels provided, please bring own towels for beach and hot tub,

Main bathroom has a walk in shower and not a bath.

Underfloor heating to both floors, Gas fire to lounge.
