"The property is clean and beautiful. It has an amazing pool. We stayed during the slow season in New Orleans, so the property was quiet. The hotel advertises their swim up bar, but it was not open during our stay. They did have a walk-up bar, however. They also open the pool to the public for a fee, making it more crowded than it would be with guests only, but loungers are reserved for guests. The design of the hotel is gorgeous. Our room was a bit small, but comfortable and clean. The bar staff...
"The staff was friendly and helpful, we met to the CEO. He lead by example, there was an issue with my card, he assured me that we could take care of it the next day. The bank was closed and he said I trust you, he knew we had been on the road for about 7 hours, tired. He told us to go and enjoy dinner and we would take of of pàying for our stay. I will stay there again."
"Comfortable is what best describes Maison de La Luz. All areas are very clean and well decorated. The location is good. The room was comfortable, spacious and extremely clean. There’s a happy hour every afternoon with complimentary wine, cheese and grapes and we enjoyed that. Coffee and milk was delivered every morning to our room (the only thing that didn’t happen as expected because we had to call twice for it). "

"The hotel is charming and extremely comfortable. Nice beds and linens. However, the room was very small with a tiny bathroom. No room at all for clothes (a minuscule closet) and no drawers. The service (as overall in New Orleans) was so, so. They mismanaged my credit card deposits (billed twice) and kept insisting they had not (until I sent evidence by e-mail). Do not expect breakfast here. There’s just a small cafe inside and big lines for an order during weekends."
