"Our stay at this property was awesome! The home had everything we needed and then some. The location was also perfect for our stay. I have no problem recommending this property to anyone considering a rental in the Cross lake area. "

"It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...

"Sheets appeared to be clean. A smoke alarm was chirping low battery down the hall for the entire length of our stay, even we phoned the front desk as soon as we heard it. (Possibly still is). Hallways were dirty. The rooms are well worn. Breakfast should be skipped."

"Stationnement gratuit. Par 2 fois, la chaîne dans le réservoir de la toilette s’est désaccordées, donc après une flush toilette est non utilisable. La deuxième nuit, je n’est pas fait partir la chasse d’eau parce que je ne voulais pas qu’elle se brise encore. Je l’ai faite partir à mon départ. Pas assez d’éclairage dans la chambre. Très belle chambre et salle de bain très propre, matelas et draps très confortable."
