"We did not use Hot Tub. There were 3 doggie beds, ( we call them climbs) in the basement, that was a great addition for our dog as she loves to hang out on them. Very pet friendly, very clean. Convenient to Lexington to see all the history in the town. The drive out to the house is awesome, very remote but we still felt very safe. Deer were everywhere. Big yard for the dog to play as well. We would definitely stay here again."

Its location is unique - remote enough for dark skies and the sounds of wildlife, with the thrill of the train when it makes its way through the tunnel under the property. "We had a great stay in New Castle. The house is located right of the main road but, it still felt private and secluded. The amenities outside really made this location. Great areas to relax and enjoy nature. There is an adorable coffee shop in town that serves breakfast and lunch. Roanoke is a 40 minute drive from town. I traveled with my elderly father so, we did not hike any of Jefferson National Forests. We are hoping to travel back in when it’s warmer to the joy the property and area more. "

"We had an amazing stay at this rental! The views were stunning. We were up to watch the sunrise from the back porch every morning! The whole house was updated nicely and super cute considering the price. The host was very quick responding and personable. We ran out of trash bags and he dropped some off within 30 minutes. It's a great place for kids with lots of games, toys, a PS2 and a few outdoor toys. Pink Cadillac Diner was the spot for dinner!"
