"Aunt Gertrude's House (perfectly named per another review) is an older home but super clean. Updated main bath and comfy beds. Excellent location on the GAP trail - Salisbury Viaduct, Big Savage Tunnel. In the off season not much is open in town or off the trail in the beginning of the week. We will be sure to stay again. Karen is a great host."

"This was a perfect getaway. Despite it being close to a road, it felt very private and quiet. "The house was extremely clean and the amenities were well thought out. The coffee area was well stocked. We really enjoyed the reading area upstairs and it was a great view of the sunrise in the morning over the lake. The house is very close to great restaurants and morning coffee. "The property was beautiful. Everything was clean. I didn't take it to take advantage of the hot tub because of rain, but the couple days I did get in it was very relaxing. There's a Perkins and a Ledo Pizza close by that I ordered from takeout. They're just about 3-5 miles up the road which is nice. There were houses close by but with the woods and the trees it felt quiet and private. It was just a quiet time with me and my cats. Would definitely recommend."

"it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. "

"Absolutely beautiful. The house was well equipped and so comfortable. The sounds of the river were music to our ears. We will go again. The host was fabulous and saw to all our needs. It is out of the way, but so worth it. And a really good access to the Allegheny Trail, whether you are a biker or walker. So much to see and do and a great place to come back to in the evening.
