"Such a unique property. Nestled amongst the gullies and gardens, you wouldn't realise that there are any other villas on the property.
The villas are so thoughtfully set out, very opulent and luxurious, everything you need for a romantic getaway right down to champagne bucket and ice machine!
Instructions for facilities and appliances were really well described, and the cleanliness of the villa was spotless.
Could not recommend more highly and we are looking forward to a return visit! "
"Amazing experience from check in to check out. Staff are incredible. Location is fantastic, so close to the main attractions of Ballarat. Rooms are generous and well appointed for a single night or many weeks. I will stay here again! Absolutely amazing experience. "
"The escape villa is beautifully designed, with plenty of natural light and stunning tree views. The fireplace is a true centerpiece—gorgeous to look at from anywhere in the villa, while also providing excellent warmth and comfort. The open-plan jacuzzi is another highlight, perfectly positioned to take in the views. Both the couch and the bedding are very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. A couple of small areas could be improved: the TV reception wasn’t great, and some of the bathroom...
"Our two-night stay in this hotel was pleasant. Our room was quiet, clean and very spacious. No noise from the outside could be heared. The bathroom was also nice, particularly the bathtube, which was big and separated from the shower. Although the wifi service was free, it was not so easy to connect though. On the other hand, the desk attendant was always very corteous with us. In all, the cost-benefits were good, and so we do recommend this hotel."
"What a great historical hotel in the heart of Ballarat. The room was up to date and the staff was helpful with our luggage. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and the service excellent. There was no problem with parking on site, especially upon our late night return from the Sovereign Hill Aura event. "

"Do some crazy traffic jams in Melbourne we arrived after 9:00 PM, which was their office closing time. Thankfully, the instructions for finding the room and the key had been clearly explained to us over the phone, which we really appreciated.
It was a cold, miserable night—but walking into the room felt like such a warm welcome. The owners had thoughtfully turned the heaters on ahead of our arrival, and that simple gesture made all the difference. It was a lovely way to start our stay.
