"All in all it was a great stay. Dishes seemed not cleaned well but it was a great bonding trip with the family. Kayaking was great, would not swim in it though due to excessive seaweed. "

"my husband and i had a lovely time had good fishing, great weather, and a relaxing stay"

"Very satisfied with the accomodations. I am an accomplished bass fisherman. The fishing was disappointing (all catch & release). Of the twenty or so bass I caught, all but one was WELL under 1 lb. Bass pictures seem to be from a while ago. It is as if the DNR stocked the lake with bass fry last spring and now all are around 6" in length. This is not a reflection on your place, but a comment from someone who probably spent 30 hours fishing. We would definitely re-book if there was a decent...

"I enjoyed seeing all the well kept houses on the lake, and we visited the Kalamazoo institute of art, very interesting place!"

"We enjoyed the privacy, scenery and being in tune with nature. Evening with the fire pit under a blanket of stars was great. Lots of room and a well stocked kitchen helped make the stay even better!"

My husband and I enjoyed the basement and the amenities it had to offer. We also really enjoyed the kayaks. This lake was very quiet the whole week. We were able to kayak at our leisure. It is a rural area which is what we were looking for. The only knock on the area is the local grocery store has been purchased by people who price gouge....

"We came into town for a graduation party and were having challenging time finding a spot for our family close to Kellogg Manor and Richland. This place worked great for our needs. Stocked well, plenty of beds and spots for all to sit comfortably. It’s literally in the parking lot of Ned’s restaurant directly across from the boat launch. The caretakers were fast to respond and very helpful. "

"I needed time off to decompress, and The Wren House offered the perfect antidote. My partner and I canoed. We chatted with the chipmunks. We scoured our bird book for the names of the variety of bird species who visited. We played games, napped and enjoyed cocktails. We even got to enjoy a great rainstorm (from inside, of course).It was perfect."
