The chalet offers a restful environment for up to six guests, making it perfect for families, couples, or small groups. The main living area is warmed by a beautiful woodstove, adding a touch of rustic charm and creating a cozy ambiance for chilly evenings. Whether you're relaxing by the fire or enjoying a scenic view of the lake, Ferndale Chalet invites you to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Pet-Friendly

Bring your furry friends! We love hosting families and well-behaved dogs! For allergy and maintenance reasons, we’re unfortunately unable to host cats.



Please note: our well water has a strong sulfur smell, similar to rotten eggs, caused by high concentrations of manganese in the soil. It's very common in this area. We've had the water tested, and it's perfectly safe for drinking, cooking, and bathing. That said, you likely won't like the taste for drinking -- so we use a water cooler and we usually have about 10 5-gallon Primo water containers on hand for guests.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
