"Hotel confortável. Mas bastante impessoal. Meu quarto, muito bom, ficava num anexo, cerca de 20 metros, o que ficou desconfortável porque o cafe da manha era no predio principal. Com o inverno rigido, necessario se vestir completamente pra tomar cafe da manha. Anunciam que tem spa ( cobrado adicional), mas nunca tem lugar. Somente 8 pessoas na sauna, com horario marcado, e a jacuzzi tambem. Tudo lotado. Tentei agendar na hora do check in. Nao tinha vaga e o spa nao abre na segund-feira, que...
"My expectations were met. Stable and fast WiFi. Friendly staff and efficient service. Be aware when you book a standard room, you will end up in a separate building across the street, which has no elevator. This also means changing between slippers and street shoes every time. My standard room did not have a walk-in shower, but a bathtub with shower head and glass wall. This type of bathroom is not shown in any of the pictures.

"Had a super lovely stay at the Basecamp Hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, lovely and cosy atmosphere at the hotel with great breakfast. It was quiet and located conveniently. Absolutely recommend staying there."
"This place is on the pricey side, but is by far the nicest hotel in Longyearbyen. The staff, the room, the food, and the hotel itself are all amazing. The included breakfast is excellent. The hotel itself is located on one of the highest locations in town, so there is a bit of an uphill climb back to the hotel after a day of exploring, but not an issue. Special thanks to Tina and Maiju at reception, and Daniel in the dining room for providing above and beyond amazing service."
