Outside: your own deck, a shared hot tub tucked behind a privacy fence, a grassy yard under the pines, and access to Spearfish Creek. Ideal for a couple or a solo traveler who wants character.

Welcome to Orchard Creek Cottages; Every unit is either a stand alone or separate apartment set among tall pines, which means you get privacy and a front door of your own, plus the amenities of a small boutique property.

Inside, this studio is a genuinely lovely room. Warm hardwood floors run throughout, the ceilings are clean and bright with recessed lighting, and the whole space feels considered. A king bed anchors it, dressed in layered white bedding with a fur throw, flanked by walnut nightstands and a wall sconce for reading. A large smart TV faces the bed. A mini-split handles heat and air conditioning, so you`re comfortable in a February snow or an August afternoon.

The kitchen is a full one, and it`s the piece people don`t expect in a cabin this size. Butcher block counters, a scalloped tile backsplash, open wood shelving stocked with dishes and glassware, an induction cooktop, a deep sink, and a mint-green retro refrigerator that everyone photographs. There`s a coffee maker and the utensils to actually cook. Under the window, a slim butcher-block table with two velvet chairs makes a spot for breakfast or for getting a little work done.

A sliding barn door in frosted glass and light wood opens to the bathroom, which is the other showpiece: a tiled walk-in shower in dramatic dark marbled tile with a recessed niche, a floating walnut vanity with quartz top, and a round backlit mirror.

Outside & the property

Step out your door onto a private deck with two chairs and a small table, tucked against warm cedar siding with a pine right at the rail. It`s the quiet spot for coffee before the day starts.

The property itself is what elevates this stay. A for guest use only hot tub sits on its own deck behind a tall privacy fence with string lights all around and a couple of loungers alongside, which is exactly where you want to be after a day in Spearfish Canyon. There`s a grassy yard shaded by pines, and Spearfish Creek is right there for wading, casting a line, or just listening to the water.

We’re available to help from 7 AM to 11 PM every day via call, text, or message. After hours, we switch to emergency-only mode, phone calls only, please. And fair warning: I’m a heavy sleeper, so you might need to call twice to wake me up! 😴📞



This is a boutique hotel property. There are other cabins within a short distance of each other that are also available for rent.

Pets must be approved before arrival. Pet fee and pet rules will apply.

Hot tub is shared with all guests.
House Rules

As a Superhost, we aim to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be! Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories in our cozy home while keeping the property safe and in good condition for the owner.

Smoking:
No Smoking, Vaping, or aerosolized substances of any kind are allowed on the property. If you are caught violating this rule within 50` of the structure, a minimum of $250 fine will be charged, and the guest will be liable for the total smoke mitigation charges that a professional company charges.

Pets:
This house is pet-friendly, up to 2 dogs with a one-time pet fee of $30.

Quiet Hours:
Please be respectful of the neighborhood and keep noise at a normal conversation volume after 10 pm and before 7 am.

General Damages:
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. All damages or missing items occurring during your stay will need to be paid for by you before departure. Cleaners check for damages and any missing items after each stay. Any damages or missing items can and will be billed to the guest.

Fire Prevention and Safety:
Please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes space heaters, air conditioners, fans, hair curlers/straighteners and
portable device chargers.

Other:
The space you are booking is for up to 2 people. More than 2 people are allowed with written permission from the host before staying in the home. The property is not setup for comfort and is not recommended for more then 2 people. No one is allowed in the home not already specified before starting the stay.

Consumables:
We may leave consumables such as coffee and small snacks for you to enjoy. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. However, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.

Parties:
If guests are found to have had a party without host permission, guests will be responsible for any extra cleaning charges and Guests will be asked to vacate immediately.

Crime and Drugs:
If guests are suspected of breaking laws or storing/selling/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and guests will be asked to leave immediately.

Cleaning:
Please hang your towels, take the trash out to the outdoor garbage can, and wash your dishes. We will handle everything else. We handle it, however if your party leaves the property in poor condition at the sole discretion of JAckie we may charge additional cleaning fees. This is based on the average condition that a guest leaves the property.

Your cleaning fee covers the cost to disinfect the property between guests, laundry wash/dry/placement, staging the property as it was, cleaning bathrooms, floors, hard surfaces, etc. It does NOT cover anything else such as coloring on walls, damage to the property, damaged linens, furniture, gouges in flooring, broken items, or other extraneous items.

Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, please be respectful of the property.
