This fully renovated 1910 gem is situated in Sparta's Historic District, perfect for a group of friends or family. This is an insanely cool space full of whimsical touches and color. Loft boasts 3 BR/1BA, full kitchen, W/D, private living area. This is settled in the center of Tennessee's most amazing State Parks and waterfalls. Enjoy a local microbrewery, either Calfkiller Brewing or Happy Trails Microbrewery. Run grab a cup of joe at The Coffee Collective, which has a cinnamon roll that will change your life! Everything you need is within walking distance and you’re right in the middle of Waterfall Country! We offer bottled water, coffee, popcorn, Moon Pies and cola (the flavors of Tennessee). Specialty local soaps and robes in every suite. Come stay a while! Let us know if you’d like a massage while you’re here. We have a masseuse on speed dial who will set up here and take away the stress of the day!

Great Location but Online Description Needs Correcting

We booked the property on VRBO because it represented 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. With 4 of us in town for a business project, efficiency was important. Upon arrival, we found the property to be kitschy and quaint, but we soon discovered the unit only had one bathroom. I immediately messaged the owners, and appreciated that they responded back immediately. Unfortunately, they questioned my claim (even after providing multiple screenshot images of the current listing on the VRBO app), and told me I must have booked or seen the ad on a 3rd party site. I assured them that was not the case as I book exclusively through VRBO (as evidenced by the images I sent them). Their response was disappointing as they claimed 100 people prior had booked the property and never experienced that error - not the reply I would have expected. Just because the 100 before us didn’t have a problem, doesn’t discount the very inconvenient, real problem we were experiencing. We paid a premium for this property and would not have booked it at that rate for that room configuration. The bottom line response from the owner was, sorry, hope it doesn’t affect your stay, then crickets. Unfortunately, it did. Getting 4 adults out the door early each morning with 1 bathroom was tough. My hope for future guests of this property if they encounter any problem is that the owners “own” the problem.

Terrific Place!

This is the second time I have stayed in this property and both times I had an excellent experience! Property is clean and well stocked. Owners were very easy to work with and responded to questions quickly. They also offered excellent recommendations on places to eat and activities to enjoy. Much better than staying in a hotel. If the opportunity arose I would definitely stay a third time!!

Whimsical loft in a charming town

Rachel and Stephanie are awesome hosts! The place is perfect for a Sparta experience within walking distance to great restaurants, cute shops and the one of the local breweries. While the pictures demonstrate just how appealing the loft is, it’s even more charming in person. We can’t wait to book another stay with Rachel and Stephanie. The Perfect Getaway

My daughter and I were looking for a landing pad in between hikes, and we discovered this fantastical space! We had so much fun in this apartment that we almost didn’t want to go out. We played records, watched movies, had popcorn, read, played trivia games, and just became a part of the artistic vibe. The place is gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. There were plenty of paper products and linens. There’s a wonderful Latin American food restaurant next door that serves THE BEST pupusas. There are other good restaurants within walking distance, and just about anything you need within a short drive. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Little Gem in Sparta

What a great experience

We stayed in downtown Sparta for a 4 day getaway to the mountains of Tennessee. The location of the loft was perfect for us. Coffee at the Collective in the morning. Beers and relaxing at Calf Killer Brewery and the late afternoon. Outdoors all day to enjoy the area. The loft is amazing. It's evident that the owner takes great pride in it and there are some many interesting details.. We will be back next year.

Just like Home

We were blown away when we entered the home! It was so clean & homey right from the start. Great sized kitchen, beds were comfy and plenty of room to hang out after long days of exploring. It was nicely located right off of the main square, with lots of restaurants & boutiques to choose from. We will recommend them to all of our family & friends.

Unique and fun and in a perfect location

We came to Tennessee for the sole purpose of hiking to the many beautiful waterfalls in the area. Sparta was a great central location and this property was perfect for us. The many thoughtful touches such as sodas & water in the fridge, moon pies, & handmade soap made us feel right at home. Several restaurants are just across the street as well. Great property!

Lovely Downtown Get-Away

This downtown get-away was perfect for my daughter and me to visit some of the local state parks. Rachel and Stephanie are wonderful hosts. They gave some great suggestions for local hikes to the waterfalls. The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished. It is within walking distance of a great coffee cafe and a few local restaurants. We would definitely stay again!
