"The house was very well decorated and very clean. We traveled to be with my Grandparents for Thanksgiving Holiday. They live on the Blue Ridge Parkway so this country location was a close drive to their home. It had been years since we had seen them, so we had a good family reunion with the group."

"The home was just the right size and very homey. It was convenient to get to shopping and going to the areas we wanted to check out, like Blue Ridge Parkway and the Skyline and also checked out the Apple House. Just some day trips. We also went to Mount Airy "Mayberry", which was fun. "

"This place was a dream! Very comfortable home, deluxe nature, peaceful, quiet and overall just what we needed for holiday week. The kitchen had all we needed to make a holiday meal. Beds are very comfortable. Home is clean, warm and cozy. Great lane for walks. Lots of deer, birds (including wild turkeys), cows. Absolutely plan to return. Host was in touch to ensure we were comfortable. A great stay. You will probably com2 back again and again!"

"This was a trip to spend a bit of time with my two adult kiddos before the craziness of the rest of the school year ensues and they both graduate in May. The yurt was perfect, and we basically just hung out playing games and cooking food while we were there. My granddog loved sniffing around thr outdoors, and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. My only insight is that the first set of steps coming up from the parking area may be a bit hazardous for those with any sort of mobility limitations, and...

"Clean, cute, comfortable cottage! Our family including our dog enjoyed our relaxing stay - movies by the fire, hot baths, crafting at the kitchen table, and cooking good food. We had fun in the area - hiking state parks (Mount Jefferson and Rendezvous), National Park System Brinegar Cabin, Blue Ridge Parkway, Emerald Hollow Mine, Love Valley (horse only town) Christmas parade/ tree lighting, and a mead flight at Stardust Cellars (kid and dog friendly). "Quick stay for a wedding close by, perfect for 4 of us. Well appointed, great mattress and cozy bedding. Only drawback was, it was ladybug season and there were gazillions in and out of the house. Did appreciate the dust buster charged and ready to go. Also, did find out from just about every guest at the wedding that there were ladybugs at all of the places they were staying. "
