SAILBEACH Spanish Wells

Sailbeach is located on St. Georges Cay in the community called Spanish Wells, walking distance to everything. It is one of the cleanest safest islands in all of the Bahamas. The house is located in the center of a beautiful natural white sandy beach. The fabulous turquoise waters can be enjoyed from the panoramic view in the main living area. Guests can enjoy the large upper deck, reclining on lounge chairs, with unobstructed view of the Bahamian gin clear waters. Your stay includes: High speed wireless Internet, cable television, beach cruiser bicycles, kayaks, stand up paddle boards; central air conditioning, large fully equipped kitchen with island and granite tops, laundry room; linens, bath towels and beach towels.

Everything was above par, this has to be the absolute best hose to rent in Spanish Wells. A friend who lives there recommended it to us, and it was the perfect location, the home, beds facilities everything was immaculate, very well thought out, it had everything we needed and more. The local knowledge the owners provided was spot on as well.Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful property on the beach. The set up of the house is ideal for 3 couples. The kitchen is very well stocked and the home is clean and comfortable. We loved going down the ramp to get in the ocean both at high and low tide. We loved visiting our favorite places in SW: Bernard’s for fresh fish and seeing the manatee, Buddha’s for burgers and rum punches, Sandbar for tacos, and evening golf cart rides for ice cream. Mark was a great host and very responsive. Thank you!!!

Amazing Location / Amazing Property

We stayed with our family of 4 for the better part of a week. It’s an amazing place in Spanish Wells. The location, access to the ocean, and the house itself are impressive. So many of the features of the house are convenient and in great condition (outdoor shower, outside seating, air conditioning, kitchen amenities, plentiful towels, and so on). Mark was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We all enjoyed the property immensely and will certainly return for another trip. My only recommendation would be to offer higher-end standup paddleboards and paddles (and require a deposit for people wanting to use them) but I understand why the host has gone with models that are more indestructible.

This property was so beautiful and like a dream when we pulled up. The views on the water were like nothing ive ever experienced! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and some extra unexpected items too. The kyacks and paddle boards were a hit.Mark the host was so accommodating to all our needs. I created such relaxing, beautiful memories with my kids.

I have now visited Spanish Wells many times and stayed at five different homes on the island over the years. Sailbeach is by far my favorite home we have rented. The windows are the best view you will ever have. The house is well appointed, location is perfect and the organization will make any OCD heart happy!! I’m now just worried it will be booked and not available the next time we travel. Trust me that it’s worth it!!

Absolutely PERFECT!

Such a great spot walked up and down the beach and did not see a better house! It’s adorable very cozy and has all the things you need for an easy stay! Mark was so easy to communicate with and was quick to respond! We loved the kayaks, paddle boards, and floats he had at the property! Really made for fun beach days! House is so well maintained and tons of info about local dinning was provided to help you get acclimated! Will totally be returning to this property 10/10 recommend!

5 star Vacation House!

We stayed in this beautiful beach house 6/16-22. The house is so well equipped that we did not need anything! The kitchen has whatever you need to cook daily. The house is so beautiful and the location is perfect! I have stayed in SW before and this is definitely a house I would gladly rent again. Mark was an exceptional host and answered every question I had quickly!! We loved the outdoor pillows that were abundant to use in the chairs by the seawall! We also used the "to go" boxes that were stocked at the house for leftovers so we could clean up the kitchen and have lunch leftovers with no cleanup!! A worker/friend was at the house the day we were leaving and graciously helped us load the our luggage on the golf cart! Everyone was so nice!! Though we were three friends, the house is also set up perfectly for families with children or two families with children. The water in front of the house is beautiful and we enjoyed walking the sandbar! Really we could not have had a better vacation or a better house to stay in! We cooked almost every meal in with exception to Wreckers, which was great and open on a Sunday and the Shipyard which was okay. We went to Papa Scoops and enjoyed that. We found everything we needed at the grocery store and enjoyed the little shops on the island! We had absolutely beautiful weather with little to no rain, which I was not sure about. Thank you Mark for sharing your beautiful home with us! We all agree best vacation ever!

The ONLY place you should consider in Spanish Wells

Someone had written awhile ago that the pictures do not do it justice… THEY DON’T!! This place was beautiful, well appointed and convenient to every place you need to go on the island. We were an extended family of 6 adults and 3 children. The place was perfect! I was concerned that the upstairs loft area would be loud but it was perfect for my daughters family of 4! They had their own private area all to them selves. The owner is a wealth of information to recommend everything from excursions to massages on the deck. I was fascinated with the tides…. Making it perfect for the 8 month old to splash in very shallow water. Will definitely be back!!

Wonderful get away

What a beautiful home, spectacular view and access to the most gorgeous crystal clear blue water we’ve ever seen. Sailbeach was clean and well appointed, with everything we could possibly need or want for our stay. And when we had a minor medical emergency, the Spanish Wells on-call nurse listed in the guide we were provided meet us on a Sunday and was thorough and so nice! We were impressed. We’ll definitely be back to the island and this house.

We loved staying at SailBeach! The house is charming and has amazing hardscaping to really enjoy the view. Speaking of, the view is really unbeatable. I just couldn’t stop staring at the water. Beach access was easy with a boat ramp next to the house. The tide comes in high and quickly goes out to low. Mark was very communicative and professional. We will definitely be coming back to Spanish Wells, and hopefully to Marks house!

Spanish Wells New Years '24

This is our third year in a row to Spanish Wells, and our first staying at Sailbeach. The property was amazing and truly put the experience over the top! The house was immaculate and well outfitted, and the location and setting are unmatched. Couldn't be more perfect for a family vacation. Mark is a responsive and gracious host. Absolutely zero issues or complaints. We will be back soon!

A slice of heaven

What a wonderful experience we had from start to finish! The house and property were impeccable. The view was perfect. The care and upkeep that has been put into this property is evident everywhere. This was our second stay on Spanish Wells and assuming we return, it will be to this house. This trip was my husband, me, and my mom. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful place to stay on a beautiful laid-back island

We fully enjoyed our stay at Sail Beach. The house is beautiful and is perfectly situated to be able to watch the tides rise and fall each day. We enjoyed cruising the island in the buggy, especially to get ice cream at Papa Scoops. Mark is the perfect host. We will be back!

We stayed at Sail Beach for 5 nights on Spanish Wells and by far had the best time! The listing is very accurate. We had 4 adults and 5 children(13 and under) The house has everything you need and more, the owner truly thought of everything. We hope to book this same place the next time we return to Spanish Wells.

Great vacation home!

I want to give this a bad review so that the house is available anytime we want to go, but that wouldn’t be kind to Mark who was an amazing host. The house is as listed if not better and in a great location. We had our 2.5 year old and 8 month old, and they loved playing in the water, seeing stingrays, starfish, and shells right in front of the house. The locals on the island are incredibly welcoming and Mark pointed us to some great spots. We had an amazing time.

Paradise found

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Sailbeach! This was our second trip to Spanish Wells (first at Sailbeach) and it did not disappoint! The house was so well appointed and communication with the owner was great. Everything was thought of to make sailbeach a great vacation rental and we were so impressed with how well maintained it was! One could never grow tired of the view from the house! Thank you Mark for sharing your piece of paradise with us and we hope to return one day in the future!
