"Fin beliggenhet. Enkel innsjekk.
Dessverre vi fikk rom ved siden av inngangsdøra. Det var varmt og vi kunne ikke åpne vinduene på grunn av røyklukt. Røyke plassen var rett utenfor. Det var alltid noen der som røyka til ut på natt.
Det luktet mugg på badet og noe i leiligheten når vi kom. Vann renner ut fra dusjen.
Soverommene er små, lite plass til å gå rundt senga. Det står lystette gardinen, men gardinen er for smale og dårlig montert, det var lyst hele natta. Lyset fra utelyset lyste også...

"The hotel is located in the center of the city with a lot of options of good restaurants in a walking distance. Also have a good restaurante with good options for breakfast.
Is located front of Ålesund bay and have a great view. Good option for business or pleasure."

"Hotel 1904 is a very nice hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but it is totally updated and renovated inside. It is in a great location. It is close to shops, restaurants and the ferry and bus stops."
"Very good hotel with friendly staff and compared to other hotels reasonably priced! We had an accesible room which was very roomy. The free dinner during the week was discontinued for summer break which was a pity. There were dining options in walking distance where you got 10% off food.
Breakfast was very extensive but if you came a little later, not all options were still available.
Cleanliness was good except the floor of the breakfast room which was sticky all of the 3 days we stayed...
"We arrived just after the kitchen closed after having travelled a long way . Given it was my birthday I was hoping for a special meal . When I told the receptionist it was my birthday the chef said I will sort it for you . He prepared us a delicious meal of fish soup and king prawns and pasta with homemade butter . It was truly delicious and I would say Michelin star level . What a kind man . The breakfast was equally delicious with homemade muesli and homemade biscuits with the normal extras...
"Det var enkelt og greit. Fikk nøkkelen til hytta og anvist hvor jeg kunne parkere. Trivelig beliggenhet med utsikt fra verandaen ut mot fjorden mot syd. Senga var bra, jeg sov godt om natten. Det er stor sjanse for at jeg overnatter her neste gang jeg skulle trenge det på en tur til Ålesund. "
"My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place!
