"Absolutely loved our stay at Blackwood Valley Suites. Our tent and gazebo broke during the strong winds the night before and we didn’t know where else to go. Irwin was very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud and the shower after a rough night in a tent was truly bliss. Plus it’s only a short drive from Balingup and Bridgetown. Beautiful scenery and just so peaceful. We will definitely be back!"

"Excellent staff and bathrooms were clean. I was, however, kept up by paper thin walls and the vibrations and booming from the music. Not sure if it was from the bar downstairs or across the street; all I know it that it affected my sleep. There wasn't a widow to open either to get fresh air into the room so it felt stagnant. If you're looking to have a fun time though, this place is great as it's close to everything."
