Perfect lake house vacation!

Beautiful home and perfect setting. The lake view was idealic! Kitchen was so well stocked...it had everything. Kayaks weren't available to use, but that was are only blip. Marilyn was very responsive to all our needs. Will rent again if available.

Perfection by the water

We had a wonderful three weeks at this pristinely clean and sumptuously comfortable house. Our host, Marilyn, was attentive to every question and made us feel completely at home. We were sad to leave, and look forward to returning in the future!

The property was beautiful and well maintained.

We loved our stay in Southold. The house was immaculate and sits in a lovely location on a lake. We were able to have a small dog who was very happy exploring the property. Greenport and fabulous restaurants and vineyards are very close by.

Relaxing beautiful pond view so much to do!

We had a wonderful time, the house is clean and cozy. Great for larger family or extended family, we had grandparents join us and it was plenty space for all of us. Pond view, no swimming access but great for kayaking and Marilyn was so nice to let us use her kayaks. The beach is about a 10 minute walk down the road. Bring water shoes, the beach is small rocks with little to no sand, a great beach to cool off and swim. Great area to vacation...loved the farm stands, wineries and towns nearby like Greenport. Easy distance to do a daytrip to Shelter Island, the Hampton's or Montauk.

Worth returning again and again

This is my second stay at this house, this time for two extra day, and once again I am glad to have chosen well. Quiet, breezy, and close to both the beach and town, it makes for a peaceful getaway that feels less like a B&B and more like a home. I appreciated the handicap accessibility and proximity to town’s many yummy restaurants, but the fresh water and shaded hammock were the highlights of keeping my family relaxed and refreshed. While the beautiful sunsets go without saying, they still deserve an honorable after all the Likes they got on Instagram.

Wonderful and Peaceful Vacation Spot...

My husband and I spent a week on this most peaceful property in June with our 3 children, our dogs and my parents and had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing time. We live in the city and just wanted an escape and that we got and much much more. Not only was the house reallhy well laid out and appointed, all 7 of us had our own space to spread out in, the place was very clean and beautifully furnished, but the outdoor area, right on the waterfront, including the deck and views of the inlet from the living space made this place the piece of heaven we were looking for. And Marilyn, who manages the house was so lovely and helpful in every possible way. I couldn't have asked for a better and more rejuvenating week off so close to home. Thank you for everything Marilyn!

great stay in Southold

Excellent organization by Marilyn Marks. Everything was in place and beautifully presented. The property itself is wonderful; bay side waterfront with walking-distance to LI Sound. Comfortable for max 6 adults. Parking issues arise if more than three cars at once. Very centrally located to numerous things to do on the North Fork. I highly recommend this property and the Shorecrest services in general.

Beautiful Home and Location

I stayed here in May with my husband and parents and had a wonderful week at this beautiful property! The property has everything you need and Marilyn, the property manager is friendly approachable and very easy to deal with. The garden and pond view are a delight and it's only a short walk to the local beach. The beds/seating areas are very comfortable enabling a relaxing experience. I wouldn't hesitate to book this rental again as we were all very happy with our stay here.

Best Kept Secret On The North Fork

I have never written a review of this property (I've rented it 5 times) because I didn't want this rental to get over booked, as I only book in June. I was recently asked why I never wrote a review and I explained! I come to find out June is usually not rented because school is still in session. So now here's my review; this rental property is everything you have read and more, truly a beautiful home and it's absolutely immaculate and it has a great outdoor shower!! Beside the beautiful water in front of the home, it's only a lovely short walk to a beautiful beach on Long Island Sound. The sunsets are nothing short of spectacular. Remember to bring a bottle of wine and your camera!! This place is one of the best kept secrets on the north fork, just don't book in June.

Gorgeous

Great place right on the water. Went kayaking and had a blast in the brand new jacuzzi/tub. Everything is newly redone and has a great lake house feel.

Clean, bright, peaceful, and beautiful. loved it!

This place is off the beaten path but has everything right there. Just no one know about it!! You wake up to nature's best views and it just gets better all day. The place is new and clean and there's lots of space. I would do it again and again if I had the chance.
