"This is a lovely cottage in a quiet neighborhood and tiny village. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the house. The kitchen is well appointed, although we only used it for light breakfasts. We had fabulous weather, so we were able to enjoy the outside deck and sea air. There isn’t much to do in the village (but do visit the cute wool boutique with nice items a short walk from the house!). There’s a highly rated restaurant in the village, but we didn’t try it. "This wonderful home has it all. It is centrally located to all the wonderful attractions in the South Coast. Very spacious, but warm and inviting. The gourmet kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of hiking. We were able to see a wonderful Northern Lights display with the wide open land around us. Would recommend and would stay here again on another trip to Iceland."

"This was our first trip to Iceland. This house was the perfect place to stay, as we had a rental car (all cars are stick shift btw so be prepared!) . There was plenty of space, wonderful appliances to use if we needed them, pleasant geothermal heating and heated water, a lovely deck and a hot tub, and walking trails nearby. The property manager gave us some very helpful tips, especially about finding local swimming/hot pot/sauna options. Very comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"Wir hatten eine wundrrvolle Woche in Renates Häuschen. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und war sehr sauber. Renate ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin und hat uns bei Fragen geholfen. Das Beste ist allerdings die Lage des Häuschens, so eine perfekte schöne Alleinlage mit einem fantastischen Blick und dann noch ein toller Hot pot besser geht es nicht!! Ich kann es nur empfehlen!!"

"An adorable quiet and private cabin with everything needed to live and cook comfortably. Ideally a washer/dryer on site would be preferred (although washing in the sink and drying on the radiator works fine). It’s ideally located for day trips around the golden circle including 2 different thermal soaking pools within 30 minute drives. You can even see the geyser erupt from the deck. The door lock sticks but we eventually figured it out."

"After traveling half way across the world to see Iceland for the first time, with just 30 minutes before check in time we had still not received check in instructions. I reached out to the host, who responded by canceling our reservation. He said he wasn't able to get the cleaning done and wasn’t in the area. There we were 3 hours in the middle of nowhere and no place to stay. I pleaded with him. He was cort and said he had meant to cancel us earlier but had forgotten. We were left completely...

Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos e prestativos. Destaque para o gerente do hotel que lembrou que nós queríamos ver a aurora boreal e nos telefonou para avisar que estava tendo a aurora boreal que poderia ser vista saindo do hotel. Sorte por ter visto a aurora boreal e mais sorte ainda por ele ter nos avisado. Só por esse ato já valeu pela...

Fácil check-in e check-out feito no Icelander Vik hotel que fica do outro lado da rua, inclusive podendo solicitar no hotel algo que faltar no apartamento. Posto de combustível, supermercado e loja de artigos de aventura ficam do lado. "
