Has pool-1/2 mile to beach-Pilgrim Acres Village- Private Condo community

1/2 mi to beach with pool. This 2 room cottage is in a great location on property. It is located at Pilgrim Acres Village in South Yarmouth MA. It's less than 1/2 to beaches and has a great pool. My beds are somewhat new. There is one full and one twin. The coach is a new American Leather queen pull out.
You need to bring sheets and all towels. The kitchen (fully stocked) is a small- galley style, but very neat and clean. Please bring paper towels and soap. My patio has a Blackstone grill and a gas fire pit. The pool is diagonally across from the cottage. There is an outdoor table and chairs for eating, two large umbrellas, an outdoor coach on deck and a deck box. In the deck box please use the beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys. The laundry room (coin operated) abuts my area and is for all to use. It is a very pleasant outside living area. Peaceful!

  • My kids LOVE this place. I personally don't see the attraction. It's a fun thing to do in Cape Cos. Lots of inflatables to bounce and play on including water ones. It's been recently been restored. Really good way to exhaust your children.

We had a great time!

This place is nicely located in a quiet and peaceful place, walking distance from the beach. And if you want to refresh yourself without hassle, a nice clean pool is literary 15 steps away from your door!My favorite was that even though the place is small, you have plenty of space outside: we had our late breakfasts and a few time dinners on the grill - enough chairs and a big umbrella to hide from the sun—another nice spot - to sit by the fire. And, behind the corner, I called the "lounge area" with a corner sofa, table, and umbrella. No window-to-window watching from the neighbors, thoughtfully planned. In the house itself, you have everything you need for a week of vacation. The only thing that I wish to be there is a bigger fridge! (The fridge there is small, ok, but the freezer was all covered in ice - so no use). Though no problem if you are not planning to cook. Mary is a lovely host, and pleasant to deal with! Overall, I would recommend this place and probably go back.

Great location in a quiet cottage close to the beach. Description is accurate and cottage is on the small side but very livable and Mary is responsive. Would rent again.

It is a great location, but the property lacks a mid-size refrigerator and a cooktop. You can't cook your meals even for 2 people on a grill.

Great location and value

Enjoyed my stay and was a great place to stay, the pool was very nice but needed help with access by other owners because they keep it locked for security which is good to have. If I have an opportunity to go back I would love to stay in this cozy place.

Week on Cape

Description was accurate. Was very clean. Lack of stove and small refrigerator would make it a little difficult for more than a weeks stay, however it is doable. The owner was quick to answer our questions. Location was good and close to many restaurants and beach. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the rail trail. Would recommend this cottage.

Nice community accessible to major roads, shops and beaches

The cottage was cute-but small. Biggest challenge was not have a stove inside or regular size refrigerator. Though there was a gas grill, it was also hot and grilling while it is 90 degrees is not likeable for me. Additionally not having a place to store food for more than a day or two made the time more costly as trips to the grocery store or to a restaurant was almost everyday. The shower stall is small. Thank God I am not an overly large person. ( would recommend installing a shower head with a long flexible neck). If my stay was for a weekend or a week tops, it would have been perfect. But being there an entire month polarized the cottage's shortcomings. However, all and all the community was great-kind and welcoming. the property owner was the best! She communicated with me throughout the entire month and we even met. If some updates were done to accommodate a longer stay, I would definitely rent again.

A Perfect Getaway!

This is a cute little bungalow within walking distance of the ocean. I was disappointed that the DVD player didn't work, but luckily Cape Cod offers plenty of other wonderful things to do! We had a great time!

Efficient Cape Cod cottage 10 minute walk from the beach.

Thank you for sharing your home with my family! My review is mainly advise for others wanting to stay and not criticism. I am new to this service. The beach at the end of the street is a very small public beach bordered by larger private beaches on both sides. It's a 10 minute walk with your gear (towels, chairs, umbrellas etc.) so consider that. The cottage itself is efficient, the bathroom small. It is attached to a larger home. It was very quiet when we were there. I could not find the login information for the wifi. That may be an issue for your kids at night when things are quiet or on the occasional rainy day when you are indoors. Overall, it served its purpose of being a quick escape for a few days before the start of a new school year. I hope this is helpful. Thank you!

Great little cottage, fantastic location, extremely easy, would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house and an excellent value for the Mid Cape. My wife and 2-year old daughter stayed in the cottage for 4 nights and had a great time. It's a very no-frills house with a tiny kitchenette, 1 small living/dining area and 1 bedroom, but it's extremely clean and well maintained. It's a short, fun walk to the beach, and a number of restaurants are walking distance or a <5 minute drive. The pool is clean and nicely kept-up, as is the pool area. The sitting area is peaceful and private. A few things to note — the kitchen is not really equipped for major cooking, so plan accordingly. We cooked a few meals there and it was a bit challenging. Also, the main bed is a full-sized mattress, so couples should be aware of that (this was clearly listed, so I'm not complaining). The outdoor umbrella seems to be broken; hopefully that will be fixed at some point. If you like the Mid Cape, this location is pretty ideal. You're 15-20 minutes from Hyannis and Dennis Port, under an hour to the Upper Cape. The housing development is on a quiet side street right off of 28, and it's totally walkable, with sidewalks and quiet streets. I wouldn't recommend riding a bike unless you have a death wish, but that's true most places on the Cape. All in all, if you're looking for a good value and no-frill housing (besides the pool, which is great) in the Mid Cape, this is a great choice.
