Discounted!!! Historic 5 BR home minutes from water, great for multi-family use

Enjoy this renovated and updated home for this season! This house has plenty of Cape Cod charm and is on the Historical register as a home of one of Yarmouth's famous sea captains. Just minutes from Windmill & Smuggler's Beach; walk or ride.

This home is perfect for multi-family get-aways.

The house contains 5 bedrooms, each adorned with a personal High Definition TV. There are 4 newly updated full baths so waiting to take a shower is a thing of the past! The Great Room is very large and bright, stocked with many places to sit and enjoy company or to watch a movie on our large 55" High Definition TV. Enjoy a night in with our spacious Game-room hosting a mint condition pool table, electronic bowling arcade game, and room for table games, as well as another HDTV for watching your favorite movies or sporting events.

The large kitchen has been updated with new Flooring & Granite counter tops while maintaining the historical feel with the original and beautiful custom cabinetry. There is plenty of room to eat with a large party between the eat-in kitchen and gorgeous Dining Room!

We have provided two sets of washer and dryers for when you want to freshen your towels from the beach for the next day. A bonus hang-out room upstairs with a gaming system, HDTV, and pullout couch/bed finishes off this wonderful home destination for your vacation.

Outside, the property boasts a beautiful and spacious deck off the Great Room complete with a gas grill and plenty of seating including two adjustable Lounge Chairs. The property has plenty of parking so multi-car families will not be a problem. There are plenty of activities provided as well in this very large property (1.3 acres), basketball, brand new Bocce Ball court, Horse Shoes Pit, and net for playing Volleyball/Badminton. All game equipment is provided just come ready to unwind and enjoy after a day at the beach! Please enjoy our outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand after the beach!

Fantastic stay at this beautiful home!! Great location and large…so much to do. We had a family reunion with others visiting and they were all impressed by the house and cooking there. Will rent again.
Buffet with lobster pot provided…plenty of dishes etc.

Huge space, plenty of room

The place was huge, showers for everyone and plenty of hot water. Near everything from food stores to attractions.We brought bikes to get to the beach, which didn’t take too long to get to.Saw fireworks everywhere from the beach on the 4th of July.The owner was very responsive to our needs. Houses were all around us, yet we still felt isolated and undisturbed .We were able to bring the dogs, and there were some leashes outside to clip them too.Patio got hot, but happy there were umbrellas there.Great for a big group, and had spaces to escape to if you needed space.

Beautiful Historical Property

The property is a beautiful home in the historic area of South Yarmouth that ownership has seamlessly combined historic charm with all modern amenities. The house is well located and close to everything with a beautiful outdoor space. The owner Brian was fantastic to work with - communication was easy and he is extremely responsive. Wonderful home with plenty of room for the entire family.

Great space

We had 10 adults who stayed comfortably in this house. Great indoor and outdoor space. A few things we wish we had known before booking - paying extra for linens (having to make our own beds) and only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Also - having to pay to play the bowling game. For this amount of money these things felt inappropriate

Great place for a large family.

The house work out great for our family get together. Location was a big plus. Stores were close as were activities. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking. This is a very large property which included a bocce and basketball court. It also had a fenced in lawn area right outside the back which worked out great for the younger kids. Brian was a great host, extremely responsive to any questions or needs.

Family gathering in a lovely and spacious home.

Our large family had an amazing stay at Brian’s house in Yarmouth! The home was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our needs. We loved the well-equipped kitchen and the ample living space where we could all gather. The backyard was a fantastic spot for the kids to play while the adults relaxed. Brian was a great host, providing helpful recommendations for local attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to make wonderful family memories. Highly recommend!

Amazing week’s stay

Second year staying at this property with the extended family. 8 adults and two kids fit comfortably in this spacious and historic house with bedrooms and bathrooms to spare. For beach days, smugglers cove is close and very easily accessible as is Skippers for some of the best seafood on the cape. The backyard is perfect for lawn games and not many places can boast both basketball and a full size bocci court. Thumbs up all around! 👍

Great family vacation

Property was great for us and out three adult kids. 10-minute walk to Windmill Park. Rented bikes for runs to the beach (about 25-30 minute walk). Also biked from the house to the Cape Cod Rail Trail (all the way to Chatham).

Excellent Property

This was the second year at Bass River. Brian was super responsive and helpful. Property is in great shape. Convenient to anything and everything. Plenty of parking! It's wonderful for large groups.

Classic New England Home

This was a very nice property conveniently located to area restaurants, beaches, and supermarkets. This was about a 20-25 minute drive to shopping in Chatham. Plenty of seafood shacks in the area. The home was clean and spacious for 6 adults. The Cape weather did not cooperate but the rec room in the basement was a great thing to have after the wives went to bed to play pool and watch the Red Sox. Very ample parking in a nice quiet neighborhood. Owner was very communicative and allowed us some extra time for checkout. Thanks again for a great stay! Anthony O.

Great Family Getaway!!

There were 12 adults sharing this home for the weekend. We had plenty of room and plenty of fun! The furniture and the beds were comfortable and there was so much to do. Brian was the perfect host and very easy to communicate with! We hope to rent this house again!

Great place

Really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of space, great locale near West Dennis and Seagull Beaches, a table big enough for everyone to eat together and play games, well kept overall with a well supplied kitchen. Had concerns about the dryer vent. The vent hose was broken and venting into the downstairs. This is a fire hazard and also created a musty smelling, humid basement when the dryer was operating. Also found a few dirty dishes in a downstairs bedroom cabinet.

Peaceful and pleasant

Great property for a large group. Plenty of parking and tons of space to spread out stuff on this large footprint. The house itself was a bit of a maze that you get accustomed to fast. Tons of fridge space. Plenty of sleeping spots. AC was clutch. We chose the linen service which was great. The back deck was perfect for chilling and listening to music. Two nits: Grill was small and prone to flareups. The adjoining property is very close which generated a needless call about noise. Brian was super responsive to every question. As someone who's rented large homes in sagamore Beach, Truro and Orleans, Yarmouth is a new favorite. I highly recommend the property. Thank you Brian!

Awesome family vacation

Spacious and comfortable! So hard to find a location close to everything that will fit my extended family but 5 bedrooms and as many baths was perfect. Pool table downstairs got plenty of action and the back yard was perfect for the kids! Thank you for making this available!

Awesome family reunion on the Cape

This Cape home was perfect for our family. The home is immaculate, comfortable and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had its own tv. The property is well kept with a greatl large back yard and deck for barbequing. The home is located to nearby stores , bike trail , mini-golf, and beaches....we could'nt ask for anything more perfect. The owner was readily available and pleasant to work with. Our family had the most wonderful time together.. Thank you Brian for sharing your lovely home with our family.

Amazing find?

So roomy !!!!!! The place is huge. Everything was perfect for us. They have everything there you need to enjoy your stay. The layout is very unique and we loved it. It was very welcoming and so was Brian. We had a party there and rented a tent. Required a porta John for the size of the party and it went beautifully !!!!!! The only suggestion I have it to upgrade beds they were not very comfortable. But it didn’t stop us we stayed for only a weekend. Would highly recommend staying here wit a large family or to have an event

Amazing Wedding!!!

We had a small (30pp) ceremony with a 20x40 tent in the beautiful back yard. The host was very accommodating and the neighbor was so nice and understanding! We loved WVERYTHING about this property!

Big house, great location

Plenty of room with a great back yard. Great location as well- plenty of beaches a quick drive away and shops nearby. Games including a pool table and bocce court great for the kids. Linens are extra.

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying in this house. Plenty of room for family gathering of nine, nice yard with games available. Enough off road parking, good location to shopping and beaches.
