"The hotel and its setting are a great escape. The beautiful gardens make for an enjoyable stroll down to the mostly private beach. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated, and the beds very comfortable. We were allocated a room that was an upgrade from what we had booked, and even with it being a Ground Floor room it still had its own seating area (two in fact!). Had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant during our stay and the food was great for both. Staff were friendly and...

"We enjoyed our harbour view room very much. There was always something going on around the harbour. it was quite a long way to the main Falmouth attractions so we ate mostly at the hotel . The food and drink at the hotel was quite pricey but perhaps on a par with other hotels in the area. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were helpful . The surroundings were a bit drab and the outside space quite limited and close to the road. The hotel was in need of decoration in some areas....

"We had a really lovely garden room with little private patio area which we loved. Overall the property is slightly dated but in all honestly we found it charming. The gardener keeps the grounds beautifully maintained and the food is absolutely superb. Will, the restaurant manager is amazing but all the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. There are a few negative things but tbf the positives far outweigh them so I'm not going to mention them apart from if you're less than fit the walk into...

"The beach was beautiful. The décor has a slightly shabby chic style, although some areas could do with updating. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely come back again. The location is excellent."

"3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog "
