"Room very clean, staff very friendly"

"My sister and I lost power due to a tornado last Thursday so we got a room at Tru. It was our first time staying there but it won’t be our last. This hotel was simply amazing. The staff was very helpful and nice. The front desk even gave us a tour before we got our room. The pool was nice and surprisingly quiet, and the breakfast was very delicious! I definitely recommend this hotel to any and everyone!"

"This hotel has a lot of potential, but my stay was unfortunately disappointing. The toilet didn't flush, the air conditioner was so weak that it did not cool the room, and the bed frame had a metal spike sticking out that actually took a chunk of skin off my leg. What frustrated me most was that the staff already knew about these issues. The front desk explained that they are actively replacing the air conditioners and have already started changing some of the bed frames because of similar...

"Our room was spacious. They didn't have a coffeemaker in the room since the coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby. The towels were very thin, the toilet paper felt like it was 1-ply. The shower in the room was dripping half of the water via the spout below since the mechanism wasn't working properly. That left us with very low pressure showers on the 4th floor."

"this place is exactly what you would expect for a two star hotel. The floors didn’t seem to be properly mopped so i wore shoes/socks the whole time. the bed sheets had some stains and were a little scratchy likely from wear and tear. The mattress was rock hard, absolutely nothing plush about it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who needs a half way decent mattress to sleep. "Pulling into the motel the roof looked a mess and when my husband went in to register the lobby smelled awful and the chairs were torn and dirty. We contacted Expedia and they called the manager who refused to let them can the reservation. The room was ok, nice bed and tv. Bathroom needed work/repairs."
